Great place to camp with kids. Good beaches.

We reserve spots here and love this spot. Near the beach on the lake and pretty quiet at night. The inlet stream goes right by the campground and the spots are pretty far apart. Very busy - really only accessible during the camping season via reservations. Bring your fishing pole, your swimsuit and your marshmallows.

Most of the sites are reservation only and they fill up fast so make sure to reserve ahead of time. The sites provide great access to the largest beach on Alturas Lake. There is also ample hiking trails just down the road to keep everyone happy. #wandervans

Great area to getaway! Fantastic time with the family, good idea to reserve a site. We lucked out with a site by going on the front of the week!
