Beautiful room, comfortable bed, QUALITY bedding, CLEAN, quaint, PET FRIENDLY, BEST PRICES AND QUALITY TO BOOT. On top of this is the gentleman who manages the place. A very kind human being. Professional, personable, kind, polite and just a nice man in general. For a (2 STAR DOMICILE!?!?) I expected a LOT less. To walk into such a beautiful room with all my favorite colors and be able to lay down in such a comfortable bed I would have expected to pay a much higher price in this area. If you are in Bellevue, Idaho stop in and spend a night in GOOD rest! I would come back again and again. Hey...whomever does the ratings of these places REALLY underestimated the quality of the Hi Country Motel. The guests have a MUCH BETTER idea of what the quality is. And we have voted!!! THANK YOU SAM!!

This hotel is very cozy and laid back. Exceptionally comfortable beds! The staff goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need during your stay. Very nice people! A great place to unwind and relax.

This place is as advertised. Good value for the price. Clean and warm rooms. Owner Sam is very nice. Safe place for families trying to save a buck.

Sam's High Country Motel is a home away from home for our clients during their roadtrip through the northern part of the US. If you ever need a place to enjoy yourself by the campfire, close to the sun valley and if you are not looking for a luxurious 5-star hotel, go for it!
