I'm prejudiced: It's like a member of my family! Been visiting and enjoying for generations. Absolutely beautiful. Plenty of camping sites, hiking, skiing, biking trails. Water for swimming, boating, fishing. Restaurants and museums. LOVE this place. Proud to call it home.

Great place to camp on the Tionesta River. While there visit Lighthouse Island on the Allegheny River. Beautiful area, friendly locals, will be back. While camping a local gentleman stopped & gave us some delicious wild mushrooms

Spent a couple days at the Allegheny Reservoir on a kayak camp trip. Very peaceful, besides the rain, but that just added to the adventure. I stayed at the Morrison Campground and launched from the Elijah Boat Ramp, both were clean and well maintained, I suggest picking up some firewood locally though as there was not much around the camp site.
