We attempted to stay here overnight but unfortunately we were too long for the space. The sewer was at the end of the site which meant we’d need almost 30’ of hose to dump. There are a lot of trees in their pull thru sites. We stuck out at the end of the site. It might be a great place for a 5th wheel or other RV but not a 40’ Motorhome with a tow dolly. The folks graciously reversed our charge for the overnight stay. We were there for less than 30 minutes. If I had a different RV, it would have been a good fit.
My family and i have been going up there for about 5 years now ! This year we stayed for a whole month . We love it there so happy we didn’t go by some of the reviews 5 years ago we would of been missing out . The park is absolutely beautiful the pools are always clean with tables and umbrellas! The bathrooms are so clean with great water pressure and hot water ! quite time is at 10 but if your being normal and sitting by the fire no one will bother you unless your being extra annoying! The ladies that work there are all super sweet never had any issues with them always pleasant ! if you follow the rules you will have a blast ! already counting the days down til next year !!!
My mother and father just got a seasonal spot at this campground this year. I’ll be honest after reading reviews I was kind of nervous for them. I have been up there 5 times since May and look forward each trip I do go visit. The campground is super clean, the bathrooms are the cleanest I have seen in a long time. I used to run a campground for 12 years so my expectations are high when I go places, and this place exceeds my expectations! I love that they found this campground, and I look forward to spending my summer up there with my parents and my wife and children. Oh yes, the staff I have met so far have been amazing as well! I really like Valerie! So sweet and always so helpful!
Beautiful spot. Very crowded, but that can be a good signRooms: 5/5
We picked our sites, made the reservations, got confirmation on the 3 sites we picked, when we arrived, they changed our sites, no email or notification of the change. Our camper went from a shaded site to one that was in the sun, not happy. Also light on the pole in front of our camper was so bright that our camper was so bright all night that it made it difficult to sleep. Fire ring on one of our sites had not been cleaned. Bathrooms were clean but toilets were constantly clogged. Was not a good experience and not planning a return trip.
We were quite nervous about our stay after reading the reviews a couple of days before our arrival. Not sure but people are looking for when they go camping..... But we camp a lot and this is a very typical campground. Sites might be a wee bit tight.... But manageable. Any staff we've come across have been very helpful and friendly. Very very quiet campground. And yes probably 90% are permanent summer campers so maybe they do have extra stuff around there site but you need somewhere to store your extra stuff. We've traveled from coast to coast and border to border north and south in the US and the cost for camping here is quite average. Bath houses were very usable and appeared to be clean.
This is an extremely crowded campground. We realize, however, that there are very few campgrounds in that area that offer pull throughs so we have needed to stay there. We have stayed there three times recently and this last stay, on a Friday, it was very smoky from campfires, very noisy from a party in the middle of the night, and at around midnight some class A's burglar alarm went off. I'm sure it awakened quite a few people in the area. The place strikes me as a bit of a free-for-all.
Nice place. Office staff friendly. Lots of shade Only issue we had was with the electric. We were in site 105. The sites were recently upgraded to 50 amp. I suspect they didn’t add a transformer On the weekends the power often went below 103 volts which causes surge protector to kick out. Had to run my generator on several afternoons. Granted it was hot as heck but the power should hold
What a great place! Made reservations and they had a packet all ready for us on arrival. One signature and all done. Map, gate code and a very nice stay. We come the last week in August every year and some of the other reviews are not accurate. We will be returning.
We have a 24 ft. pop-up camper, and our camper and vehicle just fit on site 62 alongside the fire pit and picnic table provided for our site. The well-maintained grounds, bathrooms, huge playground, and pools more than make up for the lack of space alloted to each site. The wi-fi worked well, and the electric and water worked throughout our stay. Quiet hours were enforced each night by employees. There is a convenient Dunkin' across the street, and a grocery store about one mile away. All in all, I would stay here again when I plan to camp near Salisbury Beach.
