We attempted to stay here overnight but unfortunately we were too long for the space....
An absolutely incredible place. We were able to arrive early enough (before 10am on a Saturday) that there were little to no people there. However by 11, the parking lot was full and overflowing into the back up lot. The vistas were breathtaking, and we hiked all the trails, including the one into the valley. Do note, while the trek down is steep, it is relatively easy going down hill. The climb back up the hill really took a beating on me and my group of moderately experienced hikers. Definitely wear good fitting sneakers, this is not the kind of trail for flip flops or other foot ware. The trail into the valley is both a mixture of steep angle loose gravel fill and natural boulder steps (each step is about 1.5 feet high). Bring your camera, and plan to spend about 2-3 hours. A must go.

This is an amazing historical site. The 2 exhibits that they have are really neat! The history, nature and science in it is great, and the kids loved it. There are 2 ways to enjoy the Viaduct remains and the extent of the F1 tornado power: The Skywalk to get an amazing view of the valley and a trail to go down to be close to the remains of the old bridge. - make sure you bring your hiking shoes, though!!!

This was a very informative visit to learn about the Kinzua Bridge and its history, I only wish I was able to cross it in a train before its demise. Still a great view of the valley and the remaining bridge area. This cost $0.00. Thank You PA. Gear views and a great walk on the trails. Thank PA for keeping places like this available for people that I joy history and the great outdoors. The sky way walk is cool and the glass at the end is an experience.

Great place for a family hike. It's exciting to see this artifact of human ingenuity as well as the power of natural disasters.
The visitor's center is well-maintained with fascinating exhibits.

We drove around 200miles for the sole purpose of watching the fall colours and were not disappointed at all. Historical bridge, skywalk n trails are also good. The exhibits at visitor center were informative. Bring a pair of hiking/walking shoes if you plan to take the trail. Totally worth the visit.
