Albany / Corvallis KOA

About

A place to enjoy a campfire with your RV or tent in the Green Willamette Valley of Western Oregon.

Story

The bridges of Madison County have nothing on the picturesque covered bridges here in western Oregon-not to mention the more than 700 historic structures that hark back to Albany's boom in the 1800s. The Albany / Corvallis KOA has easy access to all the historic, cultural, sporting and natural attractions of the area, including Oregon State University. You also can visit the many wineries in Linn and Benton counties. Just 5 miles from I-5, the campground is surrounded by the evergreens of the Willamette Valley and features its own nature trail-great for bird-watching!-along the Calapooia River. Enjoy watching Albany's unique, hand-crafted Historic Carousel carvers and painters! On summer Saturday nights, join in hula hoop contests and ice cream socials. From bridges to campsites, this KOA has you covered. Year-round campfires allowed-enjoy s'mores all year long!

Great place for kids. Very friendly host and staff. Also super quiet which was nice. They had a movie for kids on Friday night which was really sweet and a good break for us! Clean bathrooms and showers. Cool trails back behind the park.. Super dog friendly :) The only drawback was its too close to busy highway so you can hear traffic all night.

Right from the start the staff was very friendly and helpful. They had an awesome store with everything you could think of. The sites were clean, well spaced out and fire pits had grates on them (which is always helpful). Beautiful, clean pool. They even give you a free beach ball! Other pool rafts you can purchase as well or just bring your own! Mini golf, horse shoes, basketball, arcade and even a dog park and trail! Laundromat was nice and bathrooms were lovely as well. They have an ice-cream social on Saturdays. Great experience. My child would have stayed here for a week if we could. :-)

Nice ladies at check in but we're "unable to do accounting" when I asked for clarification on charges ...Owner was unavailable by phone for "2 days". Park close to a busy, noisy highway. Dusty, gravel/dirt and dead grass roads and sites very short. Park is in the middle of nowhere. Trash cans overflowing . Good for kids. Pool, etc. . I will not go again.
