Adventure Bound Camping Resorts - Deer Run

Camp is very run down, pools are cracking/peeling, pot holes on entrance road and each street are huge. No drainage system so with every rain the whole campground floods. There are almost no activities for kids or adults. They currently don't have anyplace for young kids to play as they tore down the small old playground they used to have with nothing to replace it. There seems to be no oversight of campers partying too loud and far past quiet hours. Garbage pickup is whenever they feel like getting to it. Truly not enough staff to get this place into proper operating status. Randomly lose water with no backup water/power system in place. As long as you have a golf cart you can drive anywhere/park anywhere but vehicles have very limited parking throughout the park. Speeds are not strictly enforced for vehicles especially golf carts making it extremely dangerous.

My family and I have been here about ten years ago and it was pretty nice camping resort, with tons of activities for the kids. We are staying here again, but it has gone down hill dramatically. There were some crafts on a Saturday morning and that was it and the water slides are only open 12-3:00. Construction in the park woke me up at 7am on a Saturday and that's all you hear all day. We played over $400 dollars to stay here for a week and you don't even get piece and quiet. That's not all, don't even think about having visitors, every visitor is $15 or more. They gate the campground so they can get dollar out of you. I have emailed management directly three days ago about the noise and still haven't heard a peep from management. Not a great experience, I will not be returning.

Nope, nope & nope. 1/2 star just because they have cable. There is a nice view of the mountains in the distance interrupted by power lines. Everything else gets less than 1/2 star. Not friendly staff and some of the seasonal folks were not at all friendly at all. I would not recommend this campground unless you want to be packed in among the seasonal sites.

Great place kids loved it when I arrived Katie who was in the office was awesome answered every question I had got there early she gave me a pass to use the facilities till check in time the best part of meeting her was she was always smiling as I told her I would love to have her on my payroll for my business when I went back to check in Katie was gone had to deal with another employee she was the worst customer service rep I have ever dealt with but after dealing with her and getting through it I and my children had a great time

We traveled from SC and stayed in one of the cabins. It was very nice and clean, upon our arrival. The entire staff, from the girls working in the store/office, to the management team, were very nice, courteous, helpful and always had a smile!😁 I would definitely travel back to this Adventure Bound Camping Resort! Good Times!!!
