Al Huda International, established in 1994, is the brainchild of Dr. Farhat and her husband, Dr. Idrees Zubair, who are actively involved in the promotion of Islamic education and the service of mankind. The aim of this ever-expanding organization is to promote proper Islamic values on an educational and research-oriented basis, as well as to provide all possible humanitarian support to the needy and the afflicted

I was making deliveries in the area and stopped in for Dhuhr prayer. Very beautiful mosque, the carpet in particular was very soft and pleasant. Would benefit from wudhu facilities insha’Allah, but that’s a very minor thing. All in all, a great experience
I took their Taleem al Quran classes, had to quit but didnt give up and took another online taleem al Quran which was once in a week and another tafseer class which was twice in a week and really benefitted so much I decided to send my daughter to their hifdh class now she is taking hifdh which also includes many beneficial classes beside Quran memorization such as good manner, Tafseer explanation of Quran, craft time, tajweed correct pronunciation of Quran etc. Their Taleem al quran course was really life changing experience for me I cannot praise enough.nIt has modern academical lesson planning is applied to the understanding of Quran and historical background of it. They don’t discriminate or follow any sectist view but They refer only Quranic verses by historical background or prophetic description or other verses from Quran.nIn a very short time 1,5 year they give you such technical education with a practical approach even such student like me who doesn’t have time to study so much bcs she has little kids or couldn’t complete the course become having an higher understanding of Quranic verses then people who does know arabic but didnt exposed such comprehensive education, even though they don’t know arabic to talk or understand what is said. With reading or studying one tafseer book one can understand one perspective but their analytical and practical studies made me understand from many perspectives that also gave me an idea about why sects have different views and all might be correct in the same time. I strongly recommend their tafseer classes to any muslim and even nonmuslim who really wants to learn how to understand , study Quranic verses to make sense of it and understand what their Lord tells to them directly without any interpretation or translation with authentic resources with systematic approach.

And that excellence is reflected in the quality of programs and services they offer.nnThey specialize in Quran and Hadith classes for women and have options for those who wish to attend on campus or online.nnThey also do a lot of great community work through their Serving Humanity Service, some of which includes food drives for the needy, toy drives for the under privileged, coat drives in the winter and other charitable causes.
Whenever I am in Mississauga, I try to visit their bookstore and masjid for prayer.
Very nice masjid. Seems like there are a lot of ongoing activities for learning more for kids as well.
