Akane Sushi Express

So excited for this place to open at this location. I liked them before they moved here, and it's even better now. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and they've done a fantastic job with the new space. The quality of the food is great, and of excellent value. They have many menu options and good presentation. The rolls are amazing, the poke bowls are good too, and appetizers are delicious. The sushi love boat is a favourite item on the menu. I look forward to trying more of their items, as I will be back there many times.

We had dinner here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed our time there. The sushi was delicious and was presented in such a beautiful way. We love when they bring it out on the boat, it looks fantastic! The service was quick and the server was kind. I would definitely return in the future!

Love to see this restaurant reopen in this location again. I visited on Sunday and didn't see the Owner. The manual are more less like before except price up. We order the Love Boat B, Shrimp Tempura and a Sunday Roll, but I found the Sunday Roll and the Tempura is not as good as before, although it is still not bad. Is it due to the Owner not working today ?

After I tried this place once it became one of my top choice for sushi. They use fresh ingredients and variety types that I enjoy it. I haven't tried dining in but service is good so far.

Excellent service and fresh, delicious food. Staff is so friendly and service is fast. Went with my two young kids who were greeted so nicely and they really enjoyed the soup and Maki rolls! Definitely recommend!

We were in the area and wanted sushi, so we decided to try this place out. We had a really pleasant experience here and were sooo glad that we discovered this place! We ordered a love boat and a scallop roll both pictured. The fish tasted really fresh and high quality and the rice were cooked just right too. The scallop roll was also very yummy!! Our server was very friend and attentive and ensured that we had a good time. We'll definitely be back more in the future.

So glad I discovered this place today! The sushi was so fresh & tasty. Good rice to fish ratio. The miso soup & avocado salad was also very good. They threw in a freebie in my lunch today. Amazing service. You got a regular customer for sure. Thank you!

It's been a very long time since I had amazing sushi! The flavors and freshness are melting in my mouth. Great service even for takeout! they gave me two complimentary miso soups. While I was waiting I enjoyed listening to their music, it added to the atmosphere.

*** December 2021 Review *** Sushi Party Tray LLBO Alternative location on Yonge Take Out As their #1 Fan I came back again for my Love Boat. And they are LLBO now I also just realized that they have an alternate location opened near Centerpoint Mall! Which I'll definitely visit in the near future. Food and service was great as always. Melissa was super sweet and made my Winter Solstice dinner wonderful. The chef also checked up on us, very cute. It's been over a year since I've dined in with them since COVID hit, I was only able to order take out from their old location and eat in the car. I ordered our usual Love Boat for 2 and the quality is just as good as before And a tiny surprise of black Tobiko instead of the usual orange. Normally we get japchae and salad but maybe due to soft opening they're not doing it yet. They also didn't have uni a la carte at the moment. The service and friendliness did not change and just as lovable. The sweet owner is still just as kind and hospitable. Their new location is clean and beautiful. Unfortunately they're still soft opening so their food delivery application and liquor license is still on the way. Overall, lovely experience. Can't wait to come back and visit again ... Although they're a bit further from their old location

This is a nice Japanese restaurant which is opened by some nice and friendly Korean staffs, especially a cute girl who named Chloe. The food is delicious and worth their price. I will definitely comeback again and recommend to my friends. Well Done:
