Great food that’s worth the value, especially the lunch menu! The lunch menu has a huge variety of options to pick from a huge advantage that there is a good amount of pictures especially if you are a visual person. The place is cozy and has small booths so great spot if you would like a more intimate experience. The service is super friendly and attentive. If you had any questions, the staff will clarify any inquiries you may have. Overall, highly recommend this place out.
A great place for some sushi tucked away into the corner of a plaza. Friendly service and lots of sushi options. We made a reservation for 7 on a Friday night and shared two boats which was plenty of food and very fresh. The uni could've been better but I enjoyed everything else a lot. I came here once a couple of years back and I'm glad to see they're still doing well!
Always enjoy coming here because the service is superb! The menu has a really good selection, and there is a mixture of booths and tables. If you are lucky, there are more private booths towards the back of the restaurant. Never tried their Korean dishes, but it's nice to have the choice of both Japanese and Korean cuisine.Food: 5/5
This place is crazy! It's the most perfect restaurant I've ever been to. The food is very fresh and very delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good and above all, it is kind. And Korean food is also delicious. I plan to visit the restaurant again soon to eat other food. I really love this place.Food: 5/5
This place offers booths seating for intimate ambiance. There is a variety of sushi, sashimi and tempura which are all fresh and yummy. Moreover, the unagi don is so delicious and their tea is tasted good in a snowy day. Last but not least, the staffs are friendly and willing to answer all of your questions although their prices is reasonable, they offer a good service. Highly recommended.
Good Japanese/Korean restaurant with good sushi. Very friendly staff. Extensive selection of dishes on the menu. Good sushi items, bento boxes , appetizers and a la cart options. We ordered : GALBI BBQ KOREAN SHORT RIBS 6PC $16 OYAJI SASHIMI $24 18PC ASSORTED SPICY MAKI PLATTER $71 46PC: ROCKET, SPIDER, GREEN DRAGON, MOUNTAIN, SPICY SALMON, DYNAMITE HINATA ROLL $17 28 DEEP FRIED ROLL: SHRIMP TEMPURA, CREAM CHEESE, AVOCADO, TOP: KANI, MASAGO, SPICY MAYO, OYAJI SUSHI UNAGI DOLSOT $20 SALMON TERIYAKI + TEMPURA + SPICY SALMON ROLL $25 Everything was delicious.
It was a good experience at oyaji sushi. It's very clean and many staffs. The seafood is all fresh and served with soup and tea. I would recommend and visit again.Food: 5/5
As a sushi lover that is very astute of fish quality and freshness, I am extremely impressed with Oyaji Sushi. We got the $60 Sushi combo and they even included pricier fishes that you normally don't aee at this price range. Fish is extremely fresh and well prepared. Service is five stars. I think this may be my new favorite place to eat Sushi at reasonable price in GTA - bar none. Keep up the fantastic work!
The sashimi and sushi here is very NOT FRESH. I ordered pick up from Oyaji and it's probably the worst sushi I tried in my neighborhood. The Salmon and Tuna looks very stale not in it's fresh light colour tone, but in dark red or pink colour. The rice tastes so like overnight. Only thing I can safely eat is the tempura, and the fried udon which is cooked. However, every piece of the grilled chicken are burnt. Please don't order from this restaurant, it's so much disappointment. I can get fresh sushi even from my local grocery but not this sushi restaurant.
The medium combo was good and perfect for two people. Came with miso soup, salad, and a noodle soup. Sashimi and sushi were tasty. I’m glad it came with so many types of fish, and even came with salmon roe. Only negative part of the meal was that the miso soup was very salty. The noodle soup was a great addition and tasted good.
