I ordered Salmon Don take away, it's nice n lot of salmon. It comes with a soup. Fish quality is average n good service. The restaurant is small inside the plaza. Parking is free n easy. Great for 2-4 person.Food: 3/5
Sushi is fresh & delicious! I've had the sushi, sashimi, & rolls and the flavours are great and good portions. Sushi chef is welcoming & friendly and puts his heart into crafting each delicious bite! I definitely will be going back for more!
One of my top go-to sushi spots! Quick service, fresh and great prices! Lots of parking and if you want to dine in, it's usually pretty quiet and the setting is very relaxed.
***TL;DR TIPS/THINGS TO KNOW*** - Lots of parking, won't have trouble finding a spot - There's dining space, but they are mostly booths that can fit a maximum 4 people each. If you're with a large group with more than 4 people, expect to be split into two groups because you won't be able to sit side-by-side - They accept credit I'm not disappointed at this restaurant, but I'm not impressed by it either. My partner and I came here and we ordered the 60pc assorted sushi and sashimi platter. The total, including 15% tip and tax came to be around ~$67. For $67, I did not think the platter was worth the cost. While the food tasted great, we did not get the dine-in experience that we should they did not refill tea, or come by to ask if we were doing OK. In fact, I had to go up to the cashier to order my food, and paid for my meal before we even got it I think the platters themselves are worth it, but I wouldn't dine-in for this sushi again. You're better off doing take-out at this restaurant.
They out did them selves for me for my Easter dinner. Thank you to the man and woman who made my order yesterday night at 10:08 . Amazing portions, freshest sushi I've had. Red tuna sushi was 10/10 Part of my order was 3 x mackeral sashimi9 pieces total I did the size count and saw the knife marks on each piece that they could have cut twice thinner to give me the 9, but it was pretty much 10 , not 9 , sizeable chunks of mackeral with would equate to 30 pieces of sashimi if they cut it thinner. The red tuna sushi was also sizeable. I'm very thankful for the visit and I'm glad I chose them Happy Easter Anth
My favourite sushi spot in Richmond Hill. First of all, the service is incredibly fast. You’ll place an order and it will be ready in 15 minutes or less. Second, the prices are really good for the amount of sushi you get. My favourite thing to order here is the lunch special. For less than $15, you get 12 pieces of sushi you get to pick 2 different kinds of 6 pieces, miso soup, and a salad. Third, the sushi is so delicious. I highly recommend the spicy salmon rolls. Friendly service as well. Worth trying for sure, you’ll likely be a repeat customer after!
Ordered the sushi 60pcs tray and lunch short ribs comes with soup and salad as well Sushi tray was fantastic, super fresh and delicious. Short ribs was oversalted, with some marinating adjustment, would do fine. Still giving it a 5 star because the tray was simply marvelous. Clean establishment, friendly customer service, will definitely be back soon.
To make it simple for readability... If you don't care much about the quality of your food/sushi/sashimi, this is where you go. They might be less expensive than some other places but there's a reason to it. But if you care about your food and the fish quality, go somewhere else. This isn't the sushi place you should go to. And certainly, it isn't the hidden gem that you might be searching for. Look elsewhere. I understand there is always a customer base that would demand such sushi places but it's not for me or anyone who desires to taste real Japanese food.
Great sushi and tempura! We love this place. Salmon roll and green dragon roll plus soup and salad make for a great lunch as does the tempura bento box. Yum! Today, Dec 3rd 2022, Kaiyo sushi made lunch for my club members meeting. The members enjoyed the food greatly. The food was ready on time and more important that they the food was wonderful. Way to go Kaiyo Sushi.
