Agrarian Bistro

I wanted this place to be better than it was. We had the warm Brie to start which was great. Big enough to share between two. We had the Croque Monsieur with fries and the burger with salad. Burger was okay but not great; however, I would not order the Croque Monsieur again. The desserts were the highlight. Both were good. I would go back to enjoy good company and a nice atmosphere with friends but I would not go specifically for the food.

Really lovely little restaurant. Make sure to book a spot for dinner in this town because it seems like places book up even in off season. The food was really tasty, warm and rich. Lots of local wine and beer choices. They had a three course any appetizer, main, and dessert for $35 when we went. There were a few vegetarian choices in each category but only maybe one vegan choice lots of cream involved. Service was nice but not overbearing at all. Great place for a group of friends.

Best steak I've eaten so far. So tender and tasty...the definition of "finger licking good" take it with their baked potatoes.

I had a nice dinner here as part of Countylicious. Dessert was good and the meal was rich with good flavour. Overall a great experience.

The food was very good and the service was exceptional despite being near the end of lunch service. Our server who looked like a young Patrick Stewart provided us with great recomendations for drinks with our lunch. I'll definitely return when in the area.

Lovely spot for a casual brunch, lunch or dinner, a small but perfectly formed menu comprising soups, salads and sandwiches for lunch and a selection of fish, meat and vegetarian mains for dinner. As the name suggests all the produce is local and the food is simple and delicious. A relaxed atmosphere and excellent service.
