Enid Grace Cafe

Small place, go early, order at the counter, wait for your name, pick up food and drink and your own water. Good food, good coffee, nice and warm ambiance. Must go for brunch / breakfast / bread / pastries when in Wellington.

The best service. Carl and Enid go above and beyond. Handing out treats to regulars and puppies, holding doors and treating everyone like family. I had the croque madame and cauliflower soup that will make you think you're in a cafe in Paris. I ended my lunch with a magical chocolate loaf. I'm a very happy man.

Great coffee, bakery options and sandwiches. Cosy, cute little café. Those missing the Tall Poppy will be happy here ;)

I asked for a lemon tart, they refused to serve it as they were about to close and they needed a full stock for the next morning! Then asked for a coffee and said that they emptied it all out as they're about to close! This place is effectively 'closed' way before their closing time! The staff didn't feel like working that afternoon.

Went there for coffee and a bagel I was shocked to find out the cost of three bagels and coffee is more than $15 The same people who handle cash and cleaning are the people who handle your food without even washing their hands before touching food A bit surprised that you did not address my cleanliness concerns. As well, maybe you should have a price for non-dressed take out bagels?
