Water and electric only sites. No sewer. 2 dumping stations and a honey wagon available. The store has everything you need. Activities every weekend. Nice country setting. There is a Stewart's just up the road. Price is great! Playground: 2 good size playgrounds Restrooms: Your average camping bathrooms. Dog-friendliness: A lot of the Seasonal tenants have dogs. A lot of barking- my only con about the whole place. Some had 3-5 dogs each!
Over all we enjoyed our 8 day stay. The campground is very well maintained. The owners were very nice. Restrooms: The restrooms were a bit disappointing. Unheated, outdated and not very well supplied.
There are a string of idiots that reside there full or part time and they are not only inconsiderate, but they scream at just about every car that passes by. The speed limit is 5mph and I was doing the speed limit and multiple people reported me as speeding when I wasn't. When I spoke to the owner, she blindly took the side of the idiots without proof and would not listen and was extremely rude. which caused me to respond rudely I later found some other campers called her told her I was not speeding and yet, I still did not receive an appology or see her warn the idiots. Many people throw loud drunken parties and keep everyone awake, which also turned out to include the owner. I didn't realize she was at the party when I complained about the noise and she became upset. Now I know why, it was her party.
Haven't camped here but have taken their campers out for an outing. Very friendly, polite people and respectful with our buses making sure it was all clean and good bfor us leaving!! Thank u for allowing us to serve u at Durham LP in Waterford!!
This is the perfect small campground to spend a weekend for many of us that live in the area. The prices are fare, there is a nice pool, a playground, a pond to take the kids fishing for sunfish, and they have regular events like DJs and fireworks. My family and I have been camping here at least 50 times over the years. I would recommend for anyone, but especially if you have kids.
First time camping here for the 4th of July. I absolutely loved it! Highly recommend. Perfect place for family camping especially kids
Great campground! They have 2 used but well maintained playgrounds, a pond that is great for the kids to fish, and a pool that is deteriorating but very clean! All bathrooms were clean and the showers had great water pressure. Each site included a fire pit and a picnic table. Campground was clean and the staff were always kind and accommodating. They even opened and turned on all the arcade games for my 2 kids.
Big campground in a nice setting. We had a nice view from site 200. There are many permanent camps set up there. We had two issues. Had to pay for two nights although stayed one. We paid for water and electric and woke up to NO water. Lucky we had our tank full.
We stayed for only 1 night but it was a very nice park. We were given a site in an open field. It was easy to park. The grass had just been cut and it was nice grass. Check-in was easy though they do require rabies proof for every one of your dogs which is totally fine but we were just unprepared. There is a dump station as you exit the park. Many of the campers in the park around the edge of the woods look to be permanent campers and many are not well maintained so they bring down the look of the place some. But for 1 night, it was completely acceptable.
We loved this place! The people were so nice and accommodating. We couldn't get into our regular campground and found this place at the last minute. They gave all 7 of us 3 gorgeous and huge sites. This is our new campground!!!! We even managed to get 7 seats on the shuttle bus that was full when we checked in.
