Active Green+Ross Tire & Automotive Centre

Really disappointed! Purchased new all season tires and had them installed to drive off the lot only to have my back passenger-side sensor not work. Had to take another day off work and bring it back to have them adjust the sensor and was told to drive “100km” for the light to go off. The light never went off! Not only did they over-inflate the tires to over 43psi but now the same tire that was a concern, a brand new tire, is now flat and am severely inconvenienced for work tomorrow. I expect this to be rectified immediatey with a proper sensor put in! I would also recommend a different mechanic! I went in for new tires and came out with a headache of problems that I never had!

Brought my car here for several repairs. John and the staff were very nice and fair however my car does not run like it used to. After doing some exhaust repairs, It now vibrates/shakes when at an idle. I now have to get it fixed AFTER I got it fixed?

Took my vehicle in for a simple alignment, they test drove the car first and said they were soo scared after the test drive that they weren't going to touch it.... tried to tell me parts weren't connected which was a lie, I double checked it in their parking lot. What kind of mechanic gets soo shook over a test drive that they won't even touch the vehicle after. GOOFS. Don't bring your vehicle here. Save yourself the time and headache. **** EDIT TO RESPOND TO OWNERS RESPONSE***** First off you did NOT lift the vehicle. You drove it around the block and then I was told your mechanic was too scared to work on it. Second if the vehicle is rendered unsafe, WHY would you not tell me what was so unsafe about it. WHY would you not suggest things that you could do to make it safe. Third, I took my vehicle down the street to an EXPERIENCED mechanic, he tightened ONE bolt and then did the alignment, with no issues and no fear of working on the vehicle (because thats his job!) I have been driving it since with ZERO issues. I reiterate, DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THESE INEXPERIENCED GOOFS THAT FRONT AS MECHANICS.

WHAT A SCAM!! So they will sell you tires and the deal is free tire changes for the life of the tire. What they don't tell you is they will come up with every excuse in the book to not do it. My wife brought our van there on 6 different occasions trying to get the winter tires put on. Each time a new excuse was created as to why they couldn't. She took 2 days off work trying to accommodate their schedule but no luck. You want to buy stuff from them go ahead but don't ever expect actual service from this location.

I received Great service here, and the communication was excellent! i felt that the owner John was a very personable and trustworthy person, which is hard to find these days. Keep up the great work I will be returning in the future !
