Activa Physiotherapy Ottawa offers Manual Therapy and Modern Electrotherapy and Modalities, including Shockwave Therapy.

We specialize in physio and massage therapy for all muscular-skeletal conditions including orthopedic-sport injury (sports physio), back/neck pain and motor-vehicle accidents.

We offer direct billing and conveniently bill your insurer directly.

We offer flexible hours, no waiting list and friendly service in English and Polish.

We are located in the New Edinburgh area with plenty of free parking and easy access by OC Transpo buses.

I, (Tom), saw Barbara for a knee issue and she was very informative and fully explained the situation. Her treatment plan focused on specific exercises and I have been very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend her services.

Such lovely couples and they provided the best service. They make you feel at home and ensure satisfaction services. Thanks so much. Also I love their friendly dog, Lula. She's so amazing and wouldn't bother you if you don't like dogs😊😊

Barbara is awesome. Got me in right away and got me back on the ice within a week after pulling a muscle. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I came in with lower-back pain, and Barbara was able to help me significantly in just a few sessions. She was friendly and spent focused time with me - I felt very well taken care of. She did not try to manipulate me into long-term expensive care, but rather taught me how to take care of my back. She was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to explain to me what was going on in a way that I understood.  I would definitely recommend her.

I just finished my second session here, and I have to say that if I ever have any more issues requiring physio, this is where I'm coming. Barbara is friendly, knowledgeable, and very invested in your recovery. Their dog Lola is a sweet, extremely well behaved pup who brings yet another element of comfort to your treatment as she sleeps on the chair next to you... as a fit, young guy who works a physically demanding job, I depend on my body to be able to work efficiently. I would 100% trust Activa any time with keeping that body running as it should and painfree.
