CBI Health Centre

After going to CBI in Ottawa for two different issues, my impression is that the priority of this place/the specific physiotherapist that I worked with care more about profits and not their patients. The physiotherapist would not give me any treatment during my first (so-called consultation) appointment ($92), even he knew I was suffering and could definitely benefit from some timely treatment. I had to wait for my 'actual' treatment appointment ($72), when he spent two minutes ultrasound machine rubbing and asked me to go back for a number of appointments in the following two weeks. Why could he not give me the two-minute treatment during my first appointment? The answer is quite obvious to me. I find their treatments are not that effective neither. As a result, I will not go back to this place.

I absolutely LOVE the entire team at CBI Health Centre, at the St. Laurent Blvd. location in Ottawa! After experiencing a nearly fatal head injury, I did my rehabilitation with Rob Karas, Physiotherapist, and Katie Mcllquham, Kinesiologist. Rob went above and beyond with his experience and knowledge in concussion rehabilitation, and when there was a medical procedure of mine that Rob was not filled in on, he went out of his way to understand and receive information from my doctors to better facilitate my rehabilitation. Katie was motivating, enthusiastic and flexible with all my training & exercises, making sure to modify or introduce anything to keep it interesting and functional. This team is EXTRAORDINARY, from the front desk to all the practitioners. It is a gift to feel so well CARED for & to see results ... but what stuck with me most is that they had genuine passion for what they do! Thank you CBI!

Physio that actually makes a difference! * But! You HAVE to actually do the exercises and postures...and when you do, YAY! I could actually get off the floor with my bad back! Thanks Rob!

it was a very bad experience with this cbi centre...I thought when i go to a similar centres asking for help to reduce my pain...I found out that its a scam. they gave me a couple papers and they told me to do it at home . with a little explanation about those papers. the weird thing is .... I paid $103.79. for couple papers and a bag of ice.. but my pain still the same. I am wandering is that the physiotherapy and rehabilitation centres do.. if so . why people go there.?...I could surf the internet and find those kind of papers anywhere....
