Ackee Tree

New owners for fall 2019. Bad service and just not as good. 70 cents for one piece of lettuce. And their Ackee sauce was out. Do not recommend.

The food there is not terrible. What is terrible is the attitude the staff have there towards their customers. All three staff especially the one usually behind the cash register seem like they hate working there, poor attitude and service. It's hardly welcoming and the only reason i go back is because there are not many options aside from Pizza or Tim Horton's, maybe some salad bar and stir fry downstairs, on campus.

Boyfriend just bought the patty on a bun thinking it's fine and open it up to see nothing at all on it. $9 for a beef patty and piece of bread? Not at all the service I had when I went to Humber. Extremely disappointing. Where are the tomatoes, lettuce, sauce and cheese? This used to be an interesting yummy mix and is now plain dry bread. Very upset after being excited for this meal.

75 cents for one single piece of lettuce and you also up charge for mayonnaise? Are you serious? So almost $6 for a Jamaican patty on a bun? You should be ashamed of yourselves price gouging students. I can get a patty on a bun with mayo and lettuce for $3 in Mississauga. That is the one and only time I eat at your restaurant. Disgusting. I only gave 2 stars because the patty tasted okay.

The food there is amazing! I usually don't crave curry chicken, but ever since having theirs, it's been a routine! Great costumer service! Can't wait to come back! :

Food was great, owner seems friendly and welcoming.ordered the large chicken plate however though I did not receive coleslaw which normally comes with it, price seems a bit expensive for what you’re getting.

For a small campus joint, this place is actually pretty good. The only downside is the limited selection. The black girl working at cash needs to fix her attitude.

The jerk pork is soo good! Jerk chicken is a close second tho! Great food, student staff, great service with a smile!

The food is always great, but the girl who is almost always running cash clearly hates her job and should probably not work in customer service...

The jerk chicken is awesome. The food is pricey, but i love the jerk chicken here.
