Indar's Roti & Doubles

Went to Indars today as I was told that they have the best doubles. Apparently this is correct. The doubles is one of the best in the city, the barra was very fluffy, the channa well seasoned and the right texture and all the sauces were amazing. They were also very friendly, patient and accommodating. These doubles are also bigger than the norm and a must try. Keep it up!

The doubles are the best I've had in a VERY long time, the bake/skin is not too greasy or thick and has a wonderful texture. The filling is seasoned perfectly and the pepper is very flavorful. I also returned on the same day for dinner and had the 7 curry {spinach, mango, baiganeggplant, aloopotato, pumpkin, kataharjack fruit and channachick pea with dhalpouriroti filled with dry dhal. Everything was good but I especially enjoyed the spinach, mango, baigan and pumpkin. I dont often eat West indian/Caribbean food outside of home but I will not hesitate to visit Indar's if I need a quick fix! 2nd best thing Ive found next to home cooked.

Food is good. Love the cucumber chutney they add to their doubles that sets them apart. However, I wish we could go back to paper bags for the pholurie. Plastic bags make them sweat and loose that beautiful crisp. Interior could use a little updating.Food: 4/5

We love this place. For some reason the sauce for the phoulari was too sweet today. But our goat and smoked herring pies were dalish.Food: 4/5

Ordered two boneless goats, four doubles and a water. They called for an order of two chicken rotis and six doubles and asked if it's my order. I said no, I ordered two goats and four doubles. He said okay went to the back and appeared again in about 60 seconds and asked if my order was the one with the water. I said yes and he handed me the bag, I said thank you. When I got home I opened the meal and ate. Of course it was the chicken order. They took out two doubles and handed me the bag without the water I paid for... paid for goat and got chicken. If they were honest and told me I would of taken the order but they tried to be sneaky that's why I'm writing this review.

Proper doubles, Trini-approved. Have only ever had their doubles so can't comment on their full menu.

Worst feeling to spend hard earned money in terrible food. Nothing bought here was edible. My friend got food poisoning. I had takeout of a few choices with roti and couldn’t eat anything, it all tasted terrible. Poor quality food and likely preparation. Had to throw everything out. Will never go back. It’s too bad.

What used to be Leena's is now Indar's and I really had a nice experience here today. I ordered the Doubles and Chicken Curry w/ Roti. The food was tasty and nice. The staff here are extremely friendly and really go that extra mile for the Customer. The place was busy with Customers in and out of the establishment. I would definitely return and would recommend this place for a quick bite.
