Everything happy happy bride. Could ask for this is the place. Thank you for an amazing experience. I am a bride, a very happy bride, that I will remember this beautiful experience forever.
Absolutely amazing food, wonderful experience that all should be a part of. The flavors of the dishes were so delicious. injera bread and eating with hands is one of the best parts. Highly recommend I am excited to go back and try some flavors out.Food: 5/5
The food was so amazing! My mouth literally waters everytime I think about it! I will definitely be going back very soon! Everything was so fresh and spiced perfectly and so SO delicious, I will be bringing everyone that I know here for the food from now on!
A great venue for hosting events or just hanging with friends. The owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming and create a great atmosphere. The food is AMAZING!
I love this place. The owner is one of the best human I’ve ever met. Food 10/10. I love seeing my people succeed.
Comfortable atmosphere, very chill. The food smelt so amazing and tasted great. The vegetable platter is tasty.
Stopped in wanting to try some Ethiopian food . Food was absolutely amazing. Service was lacking. 5 stars straight up for the food .
Very tasty Ethiopian/Etrian foods. I was impressed with the flavor as I eat Ethiopian foods often. First time here. Prices are very reasonable. The best part is the owner so genuine, friendly and caring so much about customer and our experience at his restaurant. Best experience! He does the cooking and serving by himself on weeknights. Nice patio space to stay out.
It's the same location as Abyssinia, but new owners, staff, and recipes. All dishes so far are delicious, spicy, very well made. The blend of Mitmita they use goes very well with the beef and chicken. I can't recommend the spiced tea enough; the perfect compliment to the dishes. I'd recommend starting with the Vegetarian Combo Platter, plus a meat dish or two. Very filling for two people.
The food is delicious and healthy! I've tried one Ethiopian in Paris last fall while visiting my family and it was not even close to be as good as the food offered at the Abyssinia Ethiopan restaurant in Edmonton. And the owner and people working there are very nice. The restaurant is also decorated with taste. It is, overall, my favourite restaurant in Edmonton, all type of cuisine considered.
