Ordered their Goat Meat / Ari with rice for brunch. It came with a banana and soup! It's the little things that make me appreciate a restaurant. The goat meat was delicious. Too much onion in the salad for me though. Wasn't very fond of their mango juice either.
Food was very good goat was a bit dry and the service was sloppy they didn't remove dishes entire time i was thier or check up ask questions but they were nice , when I come in and the male waiter is present he takes care of you..... sometimes they don't have what's on the menu but is what it is I can't say the food was bad or expensive and 3 out of 5 visits the service was good so check them out just don't look for good hospitality when the female staff are in charge its wierd lol its usually men who fail to be attentive
This is a robbery. I will never visit here anymore. They increased their price from $15 to $18 and cut their food portions to HALF! For $18 I can order so much more food in any other restaurant. 1st picture was the food I got a year ago and the 2nd and 3rd pictures were what I got today. They only filled their soup HALF in the container!! And of course there’s no bananas anymore. Such a shame.
I am amazed at how delicious their food is. Honestly can't even remember a time we raved about something so much. We ordered the lamb shank and the chicken steaks with a mango and watermelon shake. We also got 2 small soups. The owner was excellent in helping us. He was super friendly and extremely willing to help which was greatly appreciated. I hope everyone gives this place a try - it is a must! Excellent food and flavors!
Heading home yesterday, we just noticed Pho Huong is gone and replaced by this new East African place Zaytun. We’re pretty good at feeling the vibe before we even step in. Got two entrees to go, BBQ chicken and the goat. They were pretty fast to get it ready. The chef popped a head around the corner to joke a bit say he hoped we enjoy. We knew we would. We did. GO. Ps- this is $30. We are serious eaters and we have so much left over for today.
Food was amazing. And so much for very reasonable prices. I couldn't finish my plate.
Used to like ordering this place but they keep leaving out items on online orders. Not fair and they should do a better job of keeping tracking of orders. Anyways will not be ordering from here again. I will go to another place who can actually give me what I ordered properly.
So much food for great prices! Service was fantastic as well. Soup was provided as soon as we sat down, which was perfect because I was quite hungry coming in. Afterwards, we hardly waited 5 minutes after ordering before they came out with all 6 of our dishes. I tried the ugali for the first time based on the waiter’s recommendation. He explained to me how it is eaten and I had a great experience learning something new. It was quite delicious overall. The people there are so extremely nice and helpful. This is definitely one of my new favourites.
Ordered on DoorDash. Fantastically spiced chicken and rice and delicious sides. They also included a delicious soup with my order which was a nice surprise. The amount of food you get for the price is insanity in the best way. I will be sure to recommend this place in the future.
We ordered 15 samosas and got 2 Burr. Then we came back 5 minutes and purchased all the Burr they had. Yes it was that good. The Samosas were about 8/10 and the Burr was 10/ 10. The young man working behind the tip was very friendly unlike the dude in the back, that dude made us feel like we need be gone and never step foot here again lol thank goodness he wasn’t the one behind the service counter. He should stay at the back
