Aarm Dental Group at Coal Harbour

I have been going to Dr. Choy for almost 25 years. I highly recommend him to anyone.

I've been seeing Dr.K for 7 years and am very happy. When we moved, I did see another dentist which was a horrible experience of him fiddling around with my fillings in order to charge my insurance company. But that has never happened to me here. My cleanings usually take 45 minutes (I brush and floss daily - I read the other review that said they floss after every meal - that's a lie, no one does that). I've had some work with my caps done here and it's been great. Dr. Choy has done my husband's invisible braces and he is very happy with the results and continues to see him and is happy with Dr. Choy's service as well.

Not sure what's up with the other reviewer... I have been going to see Dr Choy for nearly 7 years. He is amazing - and so is his staff. I've been in and out of work, and they've helped me with billing - even doing a few freebies (how rare is that?!). I also have a fear of the dentist after my previous dentist did severe nerve damage - and Dr Choy's incredibly patient & kind... if he sees me getting nervous, he pulls back and removes everything from my mouth to talk me through what is going on. I've recommended friends and family to see Dr Choy because he is a fabulous dentist and, above all else, a good and ethical person who cares about his patients.

I visited Aarm Dental Coal Harbour 4 years ago and I still feel horrible about it so I decided to let everyone know what you'll be facing there. My dentist was Dr. Vineyard Choy: 1. After a quick check up I was told I need dental clean up and 3 filling. The clean up took 1 hour and I was asked to come back next day. I did so, after another procedure they told me to come back again. I asked why and they said I was booked for 4 sessions of cleaning!! without even telling me. Keep in mind that I have perfect teeth and I brush after eatting each meal. 2. Filling experience: Dr. Vineyard Choy emptied one filling which was perfect without asking me and filled it again. After 3 weeks I still couldn't eat and it was extremely painful. I went back there and he emptied it again and filled it again. We did this one more time! yes, three times. The tooth that had no problem at all. And they kept charging my insurance company and of course I had to pay 20% of it myself. Until I decided to stop this abuse and not went back. My tooth is still sore to this day and anytime that I have problem eating I swear at these guys that ruin my life.
