1888 Chop House

My wife and I ate at 1888 a couple of weeks ago and we would both easily say this is one of our favourite restaurants we have ever eaten at. The food was fabulous! The service was outstanding. Can't wait to go again on our next trip to Banff. This restaurant is a can't miss.

The chop 1888, was absolutely amazing. We had world class service and amazing food, we came here to celebrate our engagement were celebrated by the entire staff. My fiancé has a very severe peanut allergy, and they took every effort to assure us the food they were serving was safe. This was the best experience ever! Thank you Chop house 1888!

Went to this restaurant last night and both my husband and I had the wagyu striploin. Today we are both sick, vomiting and diarrhea. Our one year old infant who did not have any of the beef is fine, thank goodness!! We’re celebrating New Years by lying in bed. For an expensive meal, we are extremely disappointed and will never go there again!

I had bison tenderloin and my wife had wagyu beef and both were excellent. So were the service and ambiance. Also very expensive.

A great restaurant in Fairmont Banff Springs, had a 35oz Porterhouse for 2, for the price have had better Porterhouse steaks around the world
