Zucco's Family Restaurant

Stopped in first time to check it out. It was spacious and fairly quiet, a nice change from the bustle in the local franchise options. The waitress was knowledgeable and warm, even leaving the building to accommodate a request for plastic silverware. Our food arrived hot and reasonably quickly. I found it to be just the right amount of food. It tasted great.

Have never had a dissatisfied meal or poor service. Zucco's is clean and provides privacy with their booths separated by decorations. A great place for an unhurried meal with friends whom you want to chat with. The only negative I have is the $3.99 for a "cup" of soup with a meal when other restaurants such as Applebee's charges $3.79 for a bowl with a meal. I will go without soup next time.

Food was good but a little over priced for small portions. I ordered the deluxe shrimp scampi which came with vegetables for $3 more and there were hardly any vegetables. However they have a fantastic dessert selection that they bring over on a plate to choose classic diner style. This is the most diner esque place I've found in Pittsfield that reminds me of the great diners in my home state of New Jersey.

Zuccos has some of the best pasta around and a great family feel. Many times I've been the wait for food is short because the place seems to never be full, a plus for some and a negative for others. Once you get your food you'll be pleasantly surprised by how delicious it is and how classic it seems to be.
