Their location is so good, but they are always busy. Luckily we got a seat on the terrace. The food and drink were excellent. Only the ramen, I think because they didn’t serve timely, the noodles seemed in the soup for a long time. Overall, everything was good.
A Ramen Shop that is on Central Boulevard by the parking lot outside on the street. Although this is out of the shopping center but it gets to have a trade off with some nice view of the street. When the weather is nice, you get to enjoy the patio during your meal. The ramen portion is not huge but it is enough. you also have the option to add on some items along with a meal combo if you tend to consume more in a meal. I was interested in having the dessert however I could not take a whole portion and my friend was too full to share with me
Really really enjoyed the food and service at Zubu! They never disappoint. Made a reservation online on their website, which is relatively easy. They had a set menu of 4 course dinner for $33 and it was a lot of food! Definitely recommend the set dinner may be seasonal between the three of us we each got different things to try on the set menu. The cheesecake was a bit underwhelming though, don't get the cheesecake.
This is a really good lunch spot with lots of different small dishes to try. We especially enjoyed the cocktails Tequila Kick & Julianas Tokyo, spicy boiled shrimp wontons, salmon tacos and poke bowl. The ramen looked really good however we did not try it in this occasion and will have to next time. Our bartender, Ashley, was great and gave us recommendations. I would recommend this place!
Great atmosphere, incredible tasting food and service to match. Our experience with Zubu was great, we were promptly sat and our order taken quickly. The server we had was on top of it all. I had asked what they were known for and got some suggestions on their personal favorites and their signature dishes. Our food was out incredibly fast, faster than my expectation. Now the taste, holy heck. I went with the fatty pork, which I suggest you do too, it was prepared to perfection. The flavours with the ramen were exquisite and the savory base with added butter were a match made in heaven. I've also never tasted noodles as good as this before, they're definitely my top choice now. I've been to a lot of ramen places across Canada and Zubu as a local chain definitely takes a top five spot for me. I do recommend this place for a nice date night, time out with friends or somewhere to just get a good bowl of ramen. I enjoyed the Tonkotsu Koro.
The restaurant environment is relaxed, and there are tables in an outdoor area perfect for a sunny day. The service is good here, and it is very children-friendly. All the dishes are delicious, from the appetizers, the ramen, the maze soba like ramen without soup and even the ice cream mochi is promising. The ramen soup is not too salty, and the noodle is al-dente. The french fries have three flavours to choose from, we have chosen curry and garlic flavours, and both are worth trying. The kid's set is hearty and with various kinds of food. My daughter has eaten much more than usual but still cannot finish all of them.
What an underrated spot! This place was so good. We came here last night for dinner before a movie around 5:30. The four of us got seated right away and the host told us about the specials and seasonal features. We ordered a round of drinks, tons of appies, a few hand rolls and ramen. Sake was half off so we had a bottles it was very good and cold. All of our drinks were delicious and the food came out quite quickly. We had two of the shisho to peppers to try, the spicy garlic and shou butter. Very yummy. We had the seasonal calamari which was very nice as well. Crispy and the cauliflower and broccoli was a nice addition with the red onion. So good. The spicy tuna and salmon tacos were yummy as well. All of our ramen was nice. And the mazesoba was DELICIOUS. I would order that the next time I come. We had a mix of the aka and black garlic ramen. We then had another round of drinks and tried some whiskey which was also half off on Monday. The whiskey selection was great and we had two different kinds. If you like whiskey you can’t go wrong here. We finished the night with one of every dessert. Haha I know so extra but we wanted to try each one. Favorites were the cheesecake and mango mochi icecream. I signed up for their points and I can’t wait to come back
Extra hot sure is extra hot. The first time i went here for takeout it wasn’t great but its really redeemed itself! The broth was good and not too salty. Highly recommend just going for extra hot if youre going to choose hot the chili sauce is really good
Celebrating at Zubu With friends and enjoying both adventurous and traditional eats. Service is always attentive and food is delicious. It’s also been a while. So totally miss the flavours.
Our first time eating here and dinner was good. The ramen broth was a bit too salty, but good overall. The service was very good. Glad we were able to eat Nana's desserts. The brussel sprouts in batter wasn't good. Mostly tasteless batter. It should be taken off the menu.
