Story

Designated as an architectural heritage site, this beautiful house was built by Alfredo Biagioni in 1916. He took five years to build it, digging the basement by hand and using his horse, Nelly, to haul it away. He personally selected the stones from the Garnet Valley. The walls are eighteen inches thick which keep it cool in the summer and cozy in the winter.

The locals believe this house to be haunted...

This is a destination restaurant in itself. We booked an early 4:30 supper on a Saturday which was a good thing because the restaurant filled right up just after our order went in. The food was fresh, appetizing and the servings were ample. The server was pleasant. The restaurant is clean and has lovely decor to look at all the interesting pieces and areas. The staff were very busy, which seems common at all establishments now, and there were some delays for drink refills or clearing dishes etc. but nothing that reflected on the quality of the food or on the quality of the service. It seems to be a function of the quantity of the servers available. The menu has a nice selection, and the meals were large enough we didn’t have room to try a dessert. Our party had the Seafood Feast for 2 and the Steak and Fries and both meals were excellent.

First time in for a meal.  Gorgeous decor, with large drapes separating sections of the restaurant & love all the love plants.  Food was tasty and amazing with great service. Definitely will be back.

Food was excellent! The wrap was amazing, perfect balance of veggies, sauce and chicken.  I come here about once a year and it never disappoints. Staff is very friendly and quick.

It an eclectic place. Lots of history. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend this resturaunt in Summerland BC. Yum! Friendly staff. Great service.

The food is absolutely amazing and the service is great. Very friendly place and even has blankets if you're cold. The seats outside are super comfortable and the servers are very sweet. It really makes me feel welcomed and at home.

Great menue, with quiet European vibes. This place is nestled in the heart of wine country just minutes from the shore of the famous Okanagan Lake located in Peachland.

I am giving you a 4 stars for my dinner. I had the steak Madagascar which was a 5 star meal. My husband had the steak sandwich.  He rated it no more than a 2 star. It was a thin piece of meat with lots of gristle in it. Asked for medium rare but the meat was so thin it was more well done. Atmosphere was very pleasant,  our server was outstanding. Would we go again, yes but do not order the steak sandwich

An old stone house turned into a restaurant. It also is reported to be haunted.  I took a star away from atmosphere because the ghost didn't show up.  Seasonal outside dining is available. Good menu selection with mid-prices. Open for lunch and dinner. I had a nice craft beer with the meal and my companion had a  glass of wine.Food: 5/5
