Story

Designated as an architectural heritage site, this beautiful house was built by Alfredo Biagioni in 1916. He took five years to build it, digging the basement by hand and using his horse, Nelly, to haul it away. He personally selected the stones from the Garnet Valley. The walls are eighteen inches thick which keep it cool in the summer and cozy in the winter.

The locals believe this house to be haunted...

This place was bustling with people, and the service was quick. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and ordered the day's special, which was an excellent deal. The baklava was absolutely delightful. The ambiance is intriguing—not quite a five-star restaurant, but it’s affordable, pleasant, and has a wonderful staff.
Cutest spot!!! Great family friendly spot that also has a romantic cozy atmosphere. We visited here first for drinks and appetizers and then decided to book the outdoor patio for an intimate family wedding rehearsal dinner for us 16 including 4 children. They allowed me to book in advance without a down payment and it was a hit. The food was pretty good with a huge menu that had something for everyone. Eating at the long table under the vines with the kids playing on the set embrace us was a memory I will never forget. We will likely make it a tradition to come back for anniversaries.
This is a beautiful restaurant, inside and out. The food is top-notch. Don't even read the rest of this review, put your device down and go to Zia's. Order the Cesar Salad with bacon and extra dressing on the side. You better order a large 'cause it's so freakin' delicious that you'll be licking the plate if you order a regular size. The pastas are also fantastic and they pair nicely with your Cesar salad and a nice glass of vino. Local wine, of course!
We went to Zia’s Stonehouse for supper the other night and it was fantastic! If you want killer French onion soup you’ll find it here!nnThe Zias Burger was excellent as well. Other members of our party had prime rib, seafood feast, roast beef au jus-with cheese and onions, chicken Aviana and Sicilian linguine.nAND EVERYONE LOVED IT!!!nnThe staff is super friendly and well organized! Our group was large and everyone’s food came at the same time!
Checked out Zias Stonehouse Restaurant for a weekday lunch. 99% of the customers were of retirement age. Decor is eclectic and seating you’d find at your grandma’s house.nnLunch menu is a great deal $15.00 with 6 mainstays and four specials. Dinner feasts for two $70.00-80.00 are reasonable.nn- Almond lemon sole $15.00 - sole was lightly breaded. Lemon herb cream sauce was subtle. Good mix of veg red cabbage, carrot, asparagus. Rice was more filler than flavour.n- Lunch apricot chicken $15.00 - breast was moist, but apricot ginger sauce was mundane.nnCan’t beat the value at ZSR. 3.5 stars.
