The breakfast here is amazing. I stopped here with my cycling group for a quick brunch and we were all blown away. The Second Home Restaurant is a casual, small town place where you can go to expect some delicious comfort food at a reasonable price. I'm a big fan of waffles and these ones are delicious. They're not the fanciest, but they taste home made and delicious. And for $9, I was impressed with the amount I received. The French toast that others in my group looked delicious too and is something to consider as well. The restaurant is located in the upper part of Summerland just off of the highway. It's a great little spot to stop at for a home cooked breakfast and I know I'll be back. The patio outside would be nice when the weather is a bit better.

Casual family type restaurant. Prices reasonable. Had the grilled chicken caesar salad- very nice

Good food. Great atmosphere. Warm, cozy, and friendly. Very reasonably priced with large portions. Seniors portions available at seniors pricing. Very senior friendly.
