I came to this restaurant yesterday, it was my first time eating Indian food and I loved it! I got some samosas, chicken curry, the honey chilli cauliflower and some nan bread and yum was it ever delicious! Good service, the lady was really nice. The food was a really good price. Would recommend, definitely gonna go back!
I can only review on the breakfast. It was really good. I had the omelette and family had bacon and eggs. Good value and bacon was perfect. Hash browns were warm not hot but I forgive them. I will be going back.
Just tried 1 dish only so far which was really good! Heard alot about this place so I went to try it out. Food quality is great! Its fresh! Prices are very reasonable. The owner of the restaurant was very kind. Great experience overall and will for sure return soon to try other stuff on the menu!
Absolutely wonderful food and great friendly service. Staff made sure several times that we are satisfied with food. Very reasonable prices. Portions were of reasonable size. Fresh naans and tandoori rotis were perfectly made. Will definitely repeat again and again. Posting actual pictures of our food with this review.
Amazing platter at a very reasonable price without any sacrifices to quality. The kitchen/restaurant setup may be a bit confusing, but food makes up for it. You won't be disappointed.
Preordered my food in advance. I got there and the door that said "entrance" was locked. I knocked and called 3 times and there was no answer. A skip driver came to pick up from there and we were both trying to contact the restaurant to pick our food and there was still no answer. A man came out of the hotel next door and advised us we can access the restaurant through the hotel, so we did. There was not a person in sight when we got in there and the lights were off.. We called out and no one responded. At that point another skip driver came in to pick up as well. One of them had to walk back into the kitchen where he found a worker, and notified them that we were there.. Then the skip drivers and I I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for our orders. Do not get the vegetable pakora, I had to throw it out because it was soo dry and inedible. The other items I ordered were not great either. Unfortunately, I'd never recommend this restaurant to anyone after this experience.
Best experience ever, specially staff is so polite and always try to do their best they can do to resolve your issue. Food quality is justified with the cost of food. Thanks for giving meal in $7
Edit: response to owners reply: order was placed at 4:07PM. Order was received at 5:05 PM. About the price, it would be wise to advise over the phone if you only have 2 sizes. No one commented when I placed an order for a large goat curry and panner. Secondly, this is not my first time at the restaurant. However it will be the last time for sure. Sad that you have to provide a justification for all those who have given you a negative review cuz of your own mistakes and bad service. ———————- Poor service. Poor quality. No set prices. Charged $71 for 3 items. When I questioned they said their prices in menu are for regular sizes only and they make up prices for anything other sized. The lady working front desk had different prices than the owner. Owner came and charged lower prices since the worker didn’t know what to charge. It took them over an hour to complete the order even though they were completely dead. Will NOT recommend this place.
Ordered Goat Tikki Masala and literally got a bowl full of greasy sauce, bones, and 3 pieces of meat for $25. The rice portion was small and flavorless. And the garlic naan was bad too. I usually enjoy Indian Cuisine but this was a HORRIBLE experience! Should of checked the reviews first but will for sure never come here again!
Me and my co worker ordered through skip the dishes at work. We order two platter and one extra side, we were missing one full platter and the sides in platter we received were missing as well. I called the store phone number and the guy who answer the phone identify himself as manager. I wanted a resolution from him but he never apologize, he was very rude and simply asked me to call skip the dishes. And i told him i will be posting reviews on google and he said "Go! and spread your big mouth where ever you want." I will spread this to my whole family and friends in Winnipeg so that they don't go through the same experience. I will also visit the store anytime soon to get the information for store owner and will like to speak to him/her. Other google reviews explains a lot about this restaurant but i would've kept my mouth shut if the manager could've acted little professional.
