had the buffet it was pretty good! i liked the fish pakora and veg noodles and the butter chicken was sweet and pretty great! i recommend this buffet if u are very hungry, u can eat a lot for a nice price! tables may need to be more secure though, the tables seem to slip a lot. although it was great and i enjoyed this experience. Vegetarian options: many potato options
"HIDDEN GEM" I have been to this restaurant 3 times and every time they amazed me with the food and service. Big shoutout to all the servers, they all are super nice and very professional. These pictures are from the first time I went there. Tried masala papad which was pretty average but loved the chicken platter. Had palak paneer and lacha parantha for the main course which was good as well. On my second visit I tried the buffet which was amazing. There is everything for everyone in the buffet. So it is a must try. Overall amazing experience. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options.
This was my first time at The Chili Chutney and I had a great time. The servers were very polite and friendly. For appetizers we got the Amritsar Fish Fingers and they were amazing. For main course, we ordered the Kadai Chicken, Lehsuni Bhindi, and the Chicken Thaali. My favourite would have to be the Lehsuni Bhindi, the taste was very good and spicy. There weren’t a lot of dessert options at this place. Overall the ambience of the restaurant was great and the food was really good. A nice place to come with friends and family !
Its been a long time since I had authentic Indian food. The taste buds would be triggered heavily as their spice level was spot on. The food reminded me of my childhood trip to Delhi. I have no other words to describe other than- until you try it, you are missing outFood: 5/5
This was our first visit to Chilli Chutney and for the most part it was very enjoyable. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible BUT the ramp is on the right hand side of the sidewalk when facing the restaurant. There are two food menus, one is I believe a street food menu with samplings from locations around India and the other a very large sampling of Indian Cuisine as well as a buffet which runs from 11:30 - 2:30 $ 14.99 and 4:30 - 8:30 $ 19.99. Service needs fine tuning and I'm it will improve none of our orders came out at the same time and when asking our attendant a question about a dish, the response was "I do not know as I'm vegetarian". I'm sure management can find a way around this to allow staff to explain a non-vegetarian dish. Service was otherwise quite good and numerous stops were made at our table to see how things were going. The food was delicious, nicely presented hot and sauces rich and tasty. Restaurant clean and well light, music a little loud but bearable. Prices reasonable for the quality and quantity of meals. Vegetarian options: You want vegetarian then this is the place to come and it is very tasty. Wheelchair accessibility: Some signage showing where the wheelchair ramp is located on the eastern side of the restaurant front would be helpful.
Chilli Chutney, had a lot to carry since it has been highly rated in Brandon. But well it lives up to its hype since moving to Winnipeg. It is a great addition to our showcase of Indian Restaurants. Beginning with the ambience, we'll since the location used to be Tony Roma's the dinning space is huge and thus, there is no wait time, it is highly busy so that's a good thing. The food we tried Kacchori, Hakka Noodles. Kacchori was just so delicious. The hakka was a bit lacking in sauces but was close to perfection the way noodles were cooked. The main course, all the different sabjis from Kofta, Paneer and Dal Makhani so buttery everything was just perfect. They do provide complimentary rice with the makhani. As for there bread selection, their mozzarella cheese Naan was just the perfect blend of cheese and the dough. Lacha paratha was also cooked to perfection. Also, had a taste of their vada pav the best in the city heads down. Also, tried their tea perfect blend of tea and spices. And the best thing of it all the prices, all this cost us 120 bucks and which is a reasonable price for so much of this food. Would like to go again to try their buffet which I have heard good things about. A must try.
I recently dined at Chilly Chutney, and my overall experience was a bit of a mixed bag. Here's my review: Food: The food quality left something to be desired. While the presentation was good, the flavors didn't quite hit the mark. I found the dishes to be lacking in taste and creativity. Service: On the bright side, the service was a standout. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure our needs were met throughout the meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations. Ambience: The ambience at this was excellent. The restaurant had a welcoming and chic atmosphere with well-thought-out decor. It created a pleasant and relaxed dining environment that enhanced the overall experience. Vibes: The vibes were also on point, had a great playlist, and the overall energy of the place was upbeat without being overly noisy. It's a perfect spot for a casual dinner or a special occasion. In summary Chilly Chutney shines when it comes to service, ambience, and vibes. However, there's room for improvement in the food department. If you're looking for a stylish place to hang out with friends or family it's worth a visit, but be mindful of your food choices.
Delightful experience at Chilli Chutney! Our server Isha was well versed, well experienced, and very attentive. I've had such a good meal after a long time. We had highway chicken tikka, masala papad for appetizers, garlic naan, cheese naan with goat curry for the mains. The curry comes with rice by default. Then cherry on top was the Pani Puri. To be honest, it was way better than what I had expected. Overall, it's a great fine dine restaurant. Ambiance 10/10 Service 10/10 Food 10/10 Vegetarian options: Huge menu with lots of vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: They have some kid friendly dishes on the menu.
Lot of work needs to be done at the service part. The service is super slow. Although you see multiple servers roaming around doing nothing. Food & ambiance was excellent. Buffet can be better though add more dishes not just 1 paneer dish Overall a neutral experience. Thanks Vegetarian options: Plenty of delicious vegetarian options available Parking: Parking won't be an issue here. Huge parking lot available most of the time.
Went there with a friend the buffet cost was 20$ per person. Taste is good for a non veg- goat, chicken curry, and shrimp, and tandoori chicken are tasty. In non veg gobi 65, noodles are tasty. Worth to tryFood: 5/5
