I just found out this evening that we have a new Indian restaurant in Osborne, and we dropped by for dinner right away The food was absolutely perfect, we have tried Butter chicken, Lamb Curry and rest of the options that was included in the buffet. It was interesting to see the new concept of buffet in Covid, we basically told what we like to have first and then we ordered some refills for some parts of it again. Great idea for having buffet with restrictions and also less food wastes as well. The Naans were delicious, fresh and tasty. The lamb curry was the best lamb that I had in Winnipeg... Kudos to them, and we for sure will be there more often.
So I have ordered from here a couple times! Their butter chicken and naan bread is bar none! I’ve tried other places and it is so amazing here! Tried a few other curry items and such and everything was amazing and rich in flavour! I came to dine in today and got a little sample of some kind of spicy chicken, my server went above and beyond and was an absolute sweet heart. The portion to value was appropriate, in house dining was great! Loved the experience both dine in and out!
I ordered food from them,, and I got hairs in roti, and and paratha was too hard,, worst experience.
Why am writing this? I visited here with my bf and restaurant was close. Google maps showed its operating time from 11 to midnight. We visited here at around 12 and to our surprise it was not open. When my bf posted a review, owner replied by calling him a Liar who spreads false reviews. Be aware!!! This is the only business on entire earth where Owner is always right and customer is always wrong. So get ready to be certified as a Liar if you are thinking to visit this restaurant. Had our dinner today. Ordered goat curry and kadhai paneer. It was delicious. Full of indian spices. Gives indian essence in the food but the price was high. The price was fine according to quantity of food. Just a suggestion, a smaller size for all the vegetables should be introduced in the menu. Loved the food!! Must visit…
I was at this restaurant on a Tuesday night with my friends, we wanted to try their buffet. Worst experience ever! Took more than an hour for them to serve food, no customer service, no one served any water or anything. We were a group of 5 asked them to put an extra chair on the table; no one brought us an chair, we had to move to another table on our own. It looked like it was understaffed, but I won’t go to this restaurant again. I haven’t even started talking about the food yet but I believe this much is enough to explain the whole experience!
I was excited to see this new Indian place in the Village, and it didn't disappoint. We've eaten here twice now and the food is really excellent. We went straight for the vegetarian entrees—I highly recommend their Dal Makhani something I've made at home and the Paneer Lababdar. They're both rich and exquisitely spiced watch out for the whole pieces of star anise!. The garlic naan is superb as well, a great depth of flavor that comes from grilling. The mango lassi and sweet lassi both tasted nice, but the consistency was a little watery for my taste. Update: we've now eaten here nearly 10 times, and I can say unequivocally it's the best Indian food in Winnipeg. Additional recommendations: veggie noodles, Paneer Karahi, and Baigan Masala eggplant curry.
Honestly this is my go to Indian place. I am pretty impressed about the fact that husband and wife run this restaurant and still manage to have one of the best food in Winnipeg. Utterly amazing. Also their panner is something to give a try for :
Visited there on Sunday at 12.15, and it was not open. Not worth. Edit: look at the owner's reply. This is how he should be treating his customers. Glad we were saved by this restaurant's worst timing. Operating hours - 0 Owner - 0 Visit here to get certified as "Liar" by Restaurant Owner.
This place doesn’t get enough attention and love. Amazing food with fresh ingredients and delicious spices! Please take a day out of your year to come try out the food here I promise you’ll be back. I like the people who run the restaurant the staff is all very friendly and polite! Thank you for the amazing food and service
