YY Sushi

Its gonn be my new fav sushi place. I got special party trays for 5 different special rolls for 50 bucks and they all tastes fresh and look great. All sushi rolls wrap tight and cut evenly.

New sushi house on kingsway east van, small store but big favor, good place to try out.

Really glad another sushi concept replaced the one that just closed. It's fairly average but reasonable value. I live across the street and would come back to pick up more weeknight dinners.

Ordered through Uber eats, service overall was good but food quality was concerned. The price here's not cheap compared to others yet quality was worse than pre made sushi. Ordered 2 uni nigiri, 2 oshi and 2 salmon carpaccio. Uni was bad, not fresh at all, couldn't taste the unique flavor of uni and the taste was spoiled, salmon was thinner than paper and too much rice, paid $60 for this order and fully regret. All the 5 stars must be seeding, do not recommend

Just average at best. Did not seem like a new restaurant and it was not very clean inside. Nigiri was not fresh nor was the spicy tuna. Surprised at all the good reviews.Recommended dishesEdamame

Just tried for first time. Hands down some of the tastiest and freshest sushi in the City. Will definitely be returning.

The sashimi was very fresh, sushi rice was soft and flavoured properly. My kids loved Inari and teriyaki beef dish. Price was very reasonable, 7 people for $180 including tips, and we had sashimi boat, lobster rolls and some other rolls and rice dishes. These days even dim sum would cost more than that. Will definitely come again. Kid-friendliness: The teriyaki beef was absolutely delicious. Very nicely fried onions with lots of flavours too

Service was great! The menu itself had more than enough selection to choose from. highly recommendSushi was obviously super fresh.
