Yoshida Sushi

First time coming in since the last place closed down. We got a whole bunch of things to share. The omakase was good, had nice variety. Not your usual tamago or salmon things. Not to mention their pricing a very affordable for what we were given. Very small restaurant make sure you reserve before going. Staff are very attentive and nice.

It’s our first visit and we ordered the Omakase set - it’s very fresh and comparable to the sushi you find in Japan. - great value!! We used to live in Japan we can taste the quality. The chef and server is very friendly. We are so satisfied by the experience and we look forward to visiting again!! Highly Recommended!!!!

Family run restaurant. The open and closing time is very short but it’s worth it! The food is very delicious and have good quality. We ordered the omakase nigiri 12 pcs., Chuwanmushi, Ika ume shiso roll, anako cucumber roll, and futomaki. Everything was sooooo good. Highly recommended. Will definitely go back.Food: 5/5

This has been my second time coming here and I must say this is the best sushi place I've ever been to. My first time being here they warned us that food will take over an hour to come, which I was fine with since I had no where to be. My second time, I decided to make a reservation as I know they are getting busy and I was lucky to get the last table of the day. They are always getting fully booked which is a good sign and I am happy they're doing so well. Everyone complains how they get turned down or can't even do take outs, but you have to understand there's only one sushi chef making sushi by himself! They rather focus on the service and quality, rather than how many people can serve. They don't deserve to be down-voted for that so please be mindful when you don't get a table if you don't even reserve at all!

Yoshida is a small Japanese restaurant that offers extremely high quality sushi. It's a mom and pop shop with excellent and friendly service. I tried their chopped scallop roll and omakase set only $50!!! and everything was top-notch. If you are looking to get into omakase but don't wanna drop big bucks, Yoshida is highly recommended!Food: 5/5

Second time visiting, after being turned away the first time as they were too busy. Ordered the Omakase Sushi set, which comes with a bowl of miso soup. Fish slices are fresh and delicious. I even recommend forgoing the soy sauce and the wasabi so you can actually taste the flavour of the fish themselves. Great price for 12 pieces of Omakase sushi $48. Sitting at the sushi bar is also a treat, as you get to see the chef prepping each dish with care. You can tell that he really takes pride in making these dishes. Definitely recommend coming early and/or making a reservation in advance. I only got lucky and got a seat this time around under the agreement to finish eating within an hour before the group with the reservation comes. The time before this I was turned away without even being allowed to order takeout even for 1 person.

Ended up here because my usual place was closed. And what a treat! The Omakase Sushi was fantastic. Everything tasted fresh and was beautifully prepared. We happened to come in as someone was leaving and got a table, but I would probably make a reservation as it seems like a busy place. I will definitely be eating here again.Food: 5/5

Delicious sushi, the owners were so nice! I highly recommend the ika ume shiso roll - it is an amazing flavour combination.

Delicious omakase at an affordable price, and chef Yoshida was very accommodating of our diet. The torched black cod was a personal favourite, and the unagi was the best I've had. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Another bonus is the quality of the wasabi, as it's real instead of a pasteFood: 5/5
