Great place for Chinese food take out. They do wonderful gluten free orders. Awesom...
Our take out order was made quickly and was piping hot which was awesome. However our food was lacking flavour and was quite expensive. Seems to be getting more and more common that simple Chinese food is becoming more of a luxury.Food: 3/5
Ordered dinner combo for three. Got to choose 3 items from the list and also received chicken fried rice and 3 spring rolls and a 2 liter pop for $64 cash. Portions large enough to feed 6 people. Food taste Chicken fried rice -4* good with pieces of chicken and peas. Spring rolls - 4* crispy, tasty but oily Beef Chow main -4* tasty but the dish requires more veggies. Black pepper chicken - 3* lots of onions and green peppers but low on chicken. Taste was ok Lemon chicken - 2* crispy battered very chewy chicken with plenty of lemon sauce. Not recommended Service was fast and friendly. Lots of free parking. Washrooms were clean.
The food here was definitely authentic Chinese! Their braised pork belly with taro is definitely worth trying. The taro was very "fun" as Chinese people would say it meaning soft. Beef brisket and daikon was flavourful. Salt n pepper pork chops were tasty and had plenty of crispy pepper garlic bits to go with it. Tong ho veggies were nicely cooked as well! Must try the crispy squid.
A small place in the west end. Plain decor with friendly prompt service. The portion sizes are good and the food was served piping hot and all of the dishes were delicious. Try the peach yum yum shrimp, yum yum pork chop, beef brisket rice roll hot pot, special tofu hot pot.Food: 5/5
I ordered the Yum Yum Pork Chops and wanted it spicy. The waitress suggested Salt&Pepper Pork Chops and I went with it. It was pretty good, well battered, and the meat inside was cooked properly. Quantity was good. Almost $19 with tax but worth it. Good sprinkling of chillies on top. I will definitely be trying their noodles and fried rice next time. If you order the Peking pork chops, they are sweet. Atleast that's what I was told. They also have Dim Sum and look forward to trying that as well. Note that the place gets crowded and it would be good if you call to save a table. Vegetarian options: Lots of Vegetarian option from noodles to rice to gravies. Parking: Ample parking.
Great authentic Chinese food with a generous serving. Cool little hole in the wall plate southwest side of edmontonFood: 5/5
I ordered food from here tonight, and I'm definitely disappointed. Chicken fried rice had a few diced pieces of chicken in it. Noodles with beef had a few pieces of beef. Both had little to no taste. Ordered these pork ribs things. Oily as hell, tasted old. If I could send it all back, I would. I spent over a hundred dollars just to flush it literally. Oh, the spring rolls were ok. And the chicken Thai curry looked watered down. I didn't bother trying it or posting a pic. The search continues for food Chinese food in Edmonton.
Incredible service, the ladies at the counter were so friendly & welcoming. Our food was done super fast, 10 mins so we ran to the circle k across the street to load up on drinks & snacks for later. By the time we got back it was finished right on time. Taste is great we will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
The senior chef at this restaurant is infamous & locals have followed him throughout the years just to eat his cooking! Highly recommended. Ordered the garlic chicken, veggies, salted fish/chicken fried rice, & sweet sour pork. The restaurant is small & casual, but the staff are very nice.Food: 5/5
Mediocre food, we were rushed out of the restaurant because there were people waiting. Not a pleasant experience and probably won't go back, plenty of other options for better food, better prices and better service.Food: 3/5
