I saw the ad on FB and click on it and left my details. It was not a hour later and I received a phone call from them. We set up an meeting and I chat to Sharon. From the word go I could feel that she was honestly interested to assist me. Sharon made some change to my resume to fit the job type that I want to apply for. She went out of her way to assist and support me with my job search. I felt confident to talk to her and every time I feel negative she tell me to stay positive. When there was a company looking for somebody and she felt that I would be a good fit she referred me to them. Her service was outstanding and also the back up from YMCA is so excellent. For me not a Canadian it felt that I will never get a job. I found a position and received a job offer. All this with Sharon's help. Thank you again Sharon and YMCA for the service received from you.

Sharon Munslow at YMCA Employment Services in Burlington was very helpful with good advice and with improving my resume for my job search. I am sure Sharon's efforts on my behalf made my job search successful.
I did their try-a-trade program for welding and automotive and it was a complete waste of time. The course mainly covered automotive which is fine if that's what you're after but I didn't really learn anything about the subject I came for. when the time came to get a placement, they couldn't get me anything in my chosen trade. I wish didn't even take this course and stayed at my previous job. if you are interested in automotive, this program works great. If you're like me and wanted to get into welding, look elsewhere because they won't teach you anything you can't learn off youtube here.
Sharon was excellent in helping me to determine the type of part time job I would be suitable for as a recent retiree. From providing me with several tools for job searching to preparing my resume and then following up, I would definitely recommend Sharon at YMCA employment services.
Hi, i am Sofia and I am new here in Canada and I settled here then I start searcing for a job and I see YMCA employment service and ragister my self there that on first Nov I had meeting with Sharon, she just revised my CV and help me alot how to answer interviwe questions and I got job. I realy do like to use this program, all the things that we don't want to worry about they just take care of it thanks YMCA.
