Yaletown roundhouse station

Unlike cities in China & other modern Metro systems, Vancouver lacks 'down' escalators in most stations necessitating use of slow, tedious elevators for people unable to manage long staircases. Yaletown-Roundhouse & Bridgeport stations are Canada Line examples where it is necessary to use two elevators to get to the underground train Y-R or street level from the elevated platform BP. Be prepared for delays behind those having arthritic knees & mothers with strollers. Of course fares are much cheaper in China where major stations also have washrooms but, hey, at least the Canada Line is better than using a bus for rapid transit.

Jack was kind and wellninformed with his distillation in reference to the Canadian Railways. A beautiful engine on display and a child friendly environment. The exterior is fun too! A fun stop for adults and children alike!

They have elevators! Also, it's one of the stops for the Waterfront-YVR Airport SkyTrain so it's convenient.

The station exit is very central. The ticket area is well lit. But they do not have escalator going down to platform.

A fun filled spot with tonnes of great food joints and always something to enjoy
