I had a fantastic meal at Yaas Restaurant! The portion size was incredibly generous and definitely worth the price. The koobideh kebab was perfectly grilled, juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Every bite was delicious.nThe saffron rice was fluffy and fragrant, and the fresh bread, grilled tomato, onions, and herbs complemented the kebab perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and authentic.nIf you're looking for high-quality Persian food with large portions and amazingly juicy kebabs, I highly recommend Yaas Restaurant. I will definitely be coming back!
We had such an incredible meal at Yaas Grill House. Every single dish tasted like it was made with real care and attention. Highly recommend to anyone looking for food that’s both comforting and expertly made.nnThe kebabs were perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. The flatbread was warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious on its own or dipped into the incredible spreads.nnThe roasted eggplant dip was smoky, rich, and full of depth, and the hummus was honestly the best I’ve ever had. It was unbelievably smooth, fresh, and packed with flavor without being heavy. You can immediately tell the ingredients are high quality and everything is prepared thoughtfully.nnWe finished with the saffron ice cream, which was the perfect ending to the meal: fragrant, creamy, and unique. From start to finish, the experience felt warm, authentic, and memorable.
This restaurant has a nostalgic meaning for us, as we had our first meal here after landing in Canada years ago—although it was in a different location at the time. Today, I ordered green rice with Soltani kebab. The koobideh was excellent, and the green rice was exactly what I expected. The highlight of Yaas Restaurant is the amazing wide variety of Persian cuisine they offer, from several types of stews to dizi abgoosht and a wide selection of kebabs. Highly recommended.
Yaas Persian Cuisine is straightforward in the best way. Counter service is welcoming. Food comes out fast, portions are impressive, prices feel fair for North Van.nnThe food reads as properly Persian, not adapted-for-Instagram interpretations. You get the sense this is a place built for people who already know what they’re eating, not for content.nnInterior is festive, colourful, casual and lived in, but in a good way. It feels like a neighbourhood anchor for the local Iranian diaspora rather than a concept restaurant.nnIt’s not fancy, not curated, not pretending to be anything other than a reliable place to eat. That’s the point.
One of the things that makes Yass Restaurant truly special is the freshness of the food. Every dish tastes like it’s made with high-quality, fresh ingredients, and the freshly baked bread is on another level, warm, delicious.and the best dough ever!nnThe restaurant is always busy, which speaks for itself and shows just how much people love this place. If you’re looking for authentic Persian food, excellent quality, Yass Restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
