Quite original and authentic hot spot in Toronto. First time here in Toronto, we ordered double-flavor hot spot, one for traditional spicy soup, One for tomato soup. The spicy one is one of the best I have tried in Canada. However, the tomato soup could be more thicker. The slice meats and meat balls and vegetables are all great. Would like to explore more next time. The
Foods were great. It's not all you can eat but average out to relatively similar prices. Make sure you don't sit at the corner during peak hours.. We asked for 5 times to add soup in the spicy soup and they all forgot.
Great place for Chinese hotpot! Got the double soup option with pork bone and spicy bases, an assortment of meat and veggies, and some noodles and rice side dishes. Meat was fresh and the fish was so delicate and tasty once cooked in the soup - very fresh! Also tried the pumpkin pies and fried chinese buns with condensed milk - both are a must. Liked the traditional decor as well. Kids had a great time and really enjoyed the food. We'll be back!
Nice atmosphere, great soup bases, and a good variety of options. The beef tripe is awsome. A not the place to go if you plan on eating a lot. Our group of three spent $172 on lunch.
Celiac- friendly. I called a number of hotpot places to see if they could accommodate gluten free, this was the only place that said yes. I asked again when I entered and they seemed a little confused the people I spoke with seemed to speak English as a second language, definitely well enough to ask questions and get answers but checked ingredients and asked if rice flour was okay and pork and such. I've eaten shabu-shabu many times before but I'm only vaguely familiar with the ins and outs of hot pot. Ordering on the menu is a little difficult, but for the couple items in Chinese I just popped them into the Google translate or asked the staff. I suggest ordering the pork broth, pork belly, AAA+ angus beef, and a order of mixed veg, or pick two veg and mushrooms separately, and rice. If you're not celiac make sure you order some noodles to add after you eat the meat and veg. The sauces are extra and they do NOT have gluten free soy sauce so bring some of your own. They have hoisin, satay, oyster sauces, and others, not sure if they are gluten free. There's also garlic, green onion, sesame oil and a bunch of other condiments. The pork broth is stunning. You don't need to order any drinks bc you can just drink the broth it's so fantastic. Drinks are reasonably priced tho. Did I say the pork broth is stunning? Because it is. I asked if they make it in house and they said yes. The staff helped to show me how to mix sauces up for dipping. The restaurant is beautiful as well. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetables available. Tomato based broth available. Dietary restrictions: They answered questions about things that might contain gluten and checked.
They checked vaccinations and ensure the safe environment for everyone meat quality was good and we loved the spicy soup! We chose half n half option **The only thing they need to improve is customer service. They need to be more attentive and be nice to customers.
Amazing experience! It was our first time eating hotpot and we were so pleased. We really didn't had any idea of what to order when we got there, but Ray was beyond helpful and guide us through how to order the meats and the sides accordingly! It was truly an unique experience and now we are a fan! If you want to have a culinary experience, this is the place!!! Decoration is outstanding!!
Pretty good hotpot! This is not your standard all you can eat but it definitely shows quality of the food. You can choose 3 different soup bases, make your own sauce from a variety of choices. They give you their own version of oil as dipping sauce. Overall price wise was above average but the food and atmosphere can't be beatFood: 4/5
Super nice place with unique deco You have to be there to feel it, a must go place. Full of adventureRecommended dishesHot Pot, Sliced Beef
Relax, good ventilation, excellent service! Reasonable price! Remember not to order spicy soup base! It is beyond hot! Unless you love hot food!Food: 5/5
