La Amigo Restaurant

I love this restaurant. They use high quality ingredients and the lunch special is great value for money. Big portions. I always order their steak with spaghetti. Great soups. Their service is good too. Be sure to make a reservation before you go or you might need to wait for a long time for a table.

Love the good here, ribeye is tender and real fresh and also it is actually grilled lobster chowder doesn't have lobster taste but had the little lobster meat. White soup and the side bread is good. The most surprising thing for me is the spaghetti, it was seasoned and a bit of oil was added to prevent sticking so it tasted yum! Definitely a plus! Will definitely come back!

As someone who’s had HK cafe their whole life, I loved this place! I’ve only had their late night 9pm+ menu and I believe it’s fairly priced and good quality. I especially liked how it was relatively clean compared to many other HK cafes.

I came here for lunch recently. In terms of food, I tried their Blackened Chicken Meal. The meal came with a drink, soup, and dessert. The iced milk tea, lobster cream soup, banana crepe, and the blackened chicken were all pretty good.The iced milk tea and crepe were not overly sweet, the soup was comforting and had nice flavour, and the blackened chicken was crispy with enough flavour.

Decent service. Quick & generous portion. People complain is expensive but it comes with a drink, soup and a small dessert I mean what else do you want. 5 star for me, will visit again.

Very nice set dinner menu. I had cream chowder lobster bisque, Filet Mignon steak with lobster tail, and banana pancake. Strongly recommend

The XO noodle dish was delicious. Noodles were springy and great texture. Portuguese chicken wasn’t that great as I was expecting it to be more baked and cheesy. I would definitely go back again to try other things on the menu. Would suggest to anyone looking for a brunch Chinese place. Also, the service was very fast even though it was quite busy in there.

Good services with short long hair waitress, but the tall long hair skinny waitress always so rude and bad attitude Parking: Limited parking space.

We came here for the late night dinner specials. Very worth the price. Lots of good choices and in big portions. The angus beef special came with a good cut of beef. The waitress seems very personable to many frequent diners. *Credit card only allowed for $50 or over.

I've had both ups and downs with Amigo but mainly positives. Dinner menu is not as worth the price since you get relatively the same portion for almost twice the pricetag. Their chef is versatile, the food here is absolutely good and replicates a higher end HK cafe style. Afternoon tea menu is where the magic is at for this place.
