Wright's Beach Camp

Great location. Rented a trailer and was happy with it. Clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly. Features a pool on the west side of the camp and a general store with snacks, food items and ice cream. Has a small video arcade for the kids as well. Beach is nice, cleaned each morning. Lots of kids and family oriented.

Booked this spot weeks before we arrived. The day we arrive we get a spot at the highest part of the camp, wind was about 60-70 kms an hour and we couldnt set the tents up what so ever, we asked them if theyd move us they said deal with it. So we called another camp site down the road that told us they have big trees and no wind so come over, we go back to the wrights beach office to see if we can get a refund and they say we have to charge the 400 dollar deposits stay or go we're taking 400 dollars deposit, so we decided to lose 400 dollars instead of sleeping in our cars that night. They were extremely rude and difficult to deal with, yelled and raised their voices, it was humiliation. The resort is nice and spacious but unfortunate they couldnt help us out.

Nice bathrooms/showers, decent beach, sites on the row ends were quite large. We were in 253 and had no one around us. The sites in the middles were tight. Some awnings were practically touching their neighbors. Roads throughout the sites are full of holes besides their speed bumps.

If making reservations were easier in the shoulder seasons then it would be 5 stars. Everything else is great.

On Skaha Lake beach camping and rv with good access to hike and bike trail on former rail bed running the length of the lake
