Traveler's Motel

BEWARE! Do not make a reservation or stay here. We are a 5 star company - #1 in our field - and know what 5 star service and relations are. The owners here confronted one of our guides today when he was dropping off guests at the motel. First off, the owner's truck was blocking the entrance to the motel and our guide had to wait while the proprietor was talking with a pool guest directly in front of him. After a couple of minutes, a woman (his wife?) moved the truck just enough so that our guide could squeeze in and drop off our guests. Our guide stopped at the office to drop off the guests and carry the wine to the guests room which was right next to the vehicle. First, this woman came at our guide making baseless accusations before the man stepped in and accused our guide of "double parking" not just today, but yesterday, as well. THIS WAS OUR VERY 1ST EXPERIENCE IN PICKING UP AND DROPPING OFF GUESTS AT THIS LOCATION. It will be our last, as well. The man became very aggressive and irrational and physically pushed our guide (who was carrying a case of wine). Prior to the physical assault on our guide, both the man and the woman were wrongly - and aggressively - making absurd and false accusations about our guide and company and how he parked to drop off guests. I would also suggest to all those thinking of making a reservation here to reconsider. Even if this was the owners' only verbal and physical assault on anyone, it is one too many and I would not risk taking that chance or recommend this place to anyone. The guests that we had onboard today - and who were witness to the bizarre behaviour of the owners - even stepped in to try to calm down the owners to no avail and became targets themselves of the owners abuse. If we could give "0 stars" for this review we would. 1 star is flattering.

Reception was nice and check in was easy. Rooms were nice and clean; however, i wish our room had a hairdryer. Overall a good experience

Considering the price, everything was excellent. The room and the service were great, and the small pool is very nice. A very good location for families.

Location is excellent! Walking distance to several good locations and just a couple minutes walk to Skaha Beach Park with a beautiful beach and amenities. The hotel room was clean with air conditioning that worked well. Beds and pillows were clean and comfy. Nice pool and hot tub. The staff was friendly and was more than happy to hold our luggage for the day after we checked out. I'll definitely come back here!
