The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. They made our stay comfortable, convenient and a delight! The hotel itself is not new, but has been well maintained. The pool and hot tub were very inviting, but we were not able to test them out. The grounds look excellent for taking in on a family vacation, summer or winter. The breakfasts were delightful. There were new options each day and the quality of staff and food were excellent.

Clean and good service. Was able to switch rooms to the lower floor when my mom needed to come stay after being released from the hospital with a broken leg. If you aren't able to do stairs, make sure you get the lower floor as there isn't an elevator to the upper rooms as far as I could tell. Breakfast was included, the indoor pool was heated and there's a hot tub. So pretty good overall.

The hotel is in need of renovations. Like a total overhaul! It smells funny, the couch sucks to sit on. Very old and uncomfortable with stains. The tv has a 3rd party remote which is useless and doesn’t respond to commands. People walking to their rooms outside on the second floor leaves you wondering if the are going to bring down the building because it’s so loud. I will stay in a newer hotel next time. Lucky 3 stars! I guess I will wait for breakfast to change that result although.

AWESOME experience, maybe not the fanciest Best Western 's but well worth the stay. Great Friendly , very helpful Staff. Great location. Breakfast are well stocked with offering to please any appetite, or even food allergies. Next time I am in Penticton I will certainly stay at this BW.

We stayed for nine nights at the Best Western in Penticton. The staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room were wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious, both hot and cold foods. We signed up for the Green Program (cleaning every 3 days) but had to ask after the fifth day for cleaning and when we returned after a long day, only our bed had been made up (no new sheets or towels) and garbages emptied. We asked for a full cleaning on the sixth day and although towels and bedding were changed, the bathroom was not fully cleaned. We witnessed a cleaning person empty recycling into a bag that had just had garbage emptied into it, really disappointing. We would suggest bringing your own pillows and if you have a bad back, the mattress in room 107 will send you to a medical appointment. On our final bill, we discovered that our room rate fluctuated from $88 to $146 per night, depending on how full the hotel was. We found this really unfair, especially staying nine nights. Best Western Loyalty Rewards?!? What about loyalty in staying for nine full nights! Unfortunately, we will be finding a different hotel when we return to Penticton, BC.
