Beachside Motel

The people here are kind, helpful, polite, and overall, just a delight. If you are looking to stay by Skaha Lake for a good price, stay here. Also, it's pet friendly!Rooms: 5/5

Hotel room was nice. Older carpet, bedding and a small older TV that I could not get to change channels. Room was clean. We actually arrived early and they were nice enough to clean the room and let us check in a little early which we super appreciated after a long day of driving. There is a pool and sauna, I didn't use but they looked nice and clean. There was also laundry on site which was really nice to see. Couple bucks each to wash and dry. Location cannot be beat. You're less then a 5 minute walk to the beach which is gorgeous. At night time it was quiet and I felt safe going for a walk. Would definitely reccomend this hotel and I would stay here again.

I was in for the dragonboat festival and you can't beat the location. Don't expect anything fancy for the room but for the price/location it was awesome. Less than 5 mins away from the festival. The staff here are amazing, I would book here again for future dragon boat festivalsRooms: 3/5

Location was amazing! Staff were friendly and did their best to help. Layout and space in the suite was great. Parking was great. Outdoor space was great. Cleaning was horrendous! The public washrooms at the beach were cleaner than the motel suite when we arrived. Crumbs all over the table and the sofa. Soggy hand-towel left behind to soak-up a mysterious liquid on a kitchen chair. Bottom of our socks were black after only a few minutes of being in the suite. Orange rims in the toilet and sink... We ended up buying a broom and extra cleaning supplies. Needed to request toilet paper refills. The red coverlets on the beds should be burned!

Clean rooms with everything we needed. The TV was a bit outdated but we were not there to watch TV. The kitchenette was complete and other than the microwave made a weird noise everything worked as expected.Rooms: 4/5

Amazing location can't be beat. This place is across the street from the beach park which is my favorite place to bring the kids in Penticton. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. While somewhat dated vintage, it was quite comfortable and featured a fully functional kitchen. The courtyard has beautiful mature Ponderosa pines and a welcoming communal grilling and picnic area. Staff were very friendly, approachable and accommodating. Quiet hours were quiet. Wife, kids and I felt right at home during our 3-night stay.

Clean, quiet, family oriented motel with comfortable beds, good wifi, and lots of value packed into a good price. Near the beach and everything fun. Staff was polite and professional.

The room and location were good. Offering a nice courtyard and a good playground for the kids. Room was decent, dated but had everything we needed. TV was old but worked. Downfall. They advertised the pool and sauna being available for guest use, but close it through the winter and didn't inform us before renting.. bummer. Disappointed kiddo. Courtyard was full or dog poo never cleaned up. Noisy guests next door and across the way, partying non stop disruptive. Kids and adults crawling through windows to access their rooms. But the overall experience was good the staff was EXCELLENT and very accommodating to our needs.

Good location and was quiet at night, close to the beach and major intersections. The staff was very friendly. The courtyard is nice to sit in at the end of the day. They allow pets and the parking is great! The price is low and it reflects room quality. The room was worn, cigarette burns on floor, and bedding covers. Old TV with screen decolouration. The window would not lock so could not leave valuables. However it felt clean so I did not mind as I was paying for a lower cost room in the area. If you are spending more time outside, who needs more than a place to sleep?

For the price you get a solid place to stay and the location can't be beat. Pretty clean, great vibes and we'd stay again for sure.Rooms: 3/5
