Wooden Heads Gourmet Pizza

Food was absolutely delicious!!! Kids loved their pizza, the Italiano sandwich was the best sandwich ive ever had!! Our server Leslie was very knowledgeable and quick! Our only complaint would be, when we walked in most of the servers were standing in a circle playing with their hair, chatting and we found it very awkward. Needless to say we will be back

Wooden Heads is such a special date night spot for us. We keep coming back for their fantastic pastas and entrees. Their specials are always a hit too! While they are known for their wood fired pizzas, that’s the least exemplary part of their menu for us. We find their crust to be slightly dry and the toppings fairly bland for how expensive it is. Their mushroom pasta, though — ‍So so good. One of my favorite plates of food in Kingston.

Yes, this spot in Downtown Kingston has a real wood oven and delivers the tastiest thin crust European style pizzas in the area. Our minor quibble was the center of the pizza was a little soggy, but that was over ruled by the quality of the thick cut bacon on the pizza. It was life changing! Nice and reasonably priced wine list that includes local bottles; we heartily recommend the Ontario Malivoire Rose with your meal. Pleasant and efficient service in this busy restaurant. We recommend you reserve in advance to dine here.

Overall pretty good. We shared a pizza and beet arugula salad. I was pleased that the salad had lots of hazelnuts and goat cheese, as I would honestly expect for $19. Not the type of restaurant I would order the $35 entrees, but very popular and busy spot. We were seated at 535 and told we had to be out by 645- so luckily for us we ordered light and food came fast. I would go for this type of food again.

One of the better places in Kingston. The service was great, and the pizzas were fairly good. The verrocchio is such a must! It really carried the experience. Overall a solid 4/5
