Run out of butter!! Really?!?nThey serve a ton of bread in Panera. Either be the bread with their soup or with their muffins or many pastries. Running out of butter is unacceptable. Run to Costco and buy a bucket.nThe soup wild rice seems uncooked. The caprese sandwich lacks any protein. They call it vegan. The salad is frozen cold. Between eating the frozen salad and the soup my teeth got so sensitive. Needs improvement fast.
Terrible Panera Bread location - if it were not due to the Tesla chargers, I would not have gone so many times. However, after this last visit, I will not go again.nnEach time I come in the evening around 8 pm, they do not have any side apple or bread, that comes with the order available.; therefore, I was offered a bag of chips as the side. This time they told me that my only option was a bag of chips for $0.50 or no side. I told the cashier that I never had to pay and she told me I don’t have to take the side and then no need to pay anything extra. I am already paying $25 for a small bowl of soup and a whole sandwich which also ran out of the regular focaccia and the issue is not the $0.50 but that they ran out of something that was supposed to be provided at no extra charge. They should offer something else at no charge. She insisted I could just skip the side. I asked her to talk to the manager and she reluctantly went after I insisted she check several times. She came back saying that chips is still $0.50 but that they can offer me a slice of bread instead as the side. So I opted for the bread.nWhile waiting for my take out order, I went to the washroom and when I came back the screen indicated that my order was ready for pick up. I went to the pick up window and told my name and the person in the back rudely told me that she’s working on it now. I said that the only reason I followed up was due to the screen and I didn’t see any order/bag sitting at the counter. She ignored me and looked annoyed. The order disappeared from the screen and I waited another 5 minutes. When I finally received my order, I took it outside and started to eat the soup immediately and it was not full and barely warm! Hugely disappointing.nI expected much better from a place where it’s $25 for a takeout sandwich and a soup that’s barely enough food for a meal.
Probably won’t be returning to this location. I paid over 6$ for half a bowl of Mac n’ cheese which is absolutely outrageous. I wasn’t asked what side I wanted for my pick 2 and was given a cold squished bun. Last time I had pick 2 it came with a nice piece of baguette. For a $20 meal I expect way better.nAlso, for a place that you expect to have coffee shop vibes, there is no wifi which was so surprising. Plus the coffee was burnt and gross.nIt’s a nice spacious, sunny location but overall really disappointing
I recently visited Panera Bread in Kinston and had a wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that my meal was perfect. I ordered half a veggie sandwich, but by mistake, they brought a normal sandwich. However, when I informed them of the mistake, they immediately and politely made me a new sandwich.nnTo make up for the mistake, they even offered me a full sandwich, which was incredibly generous. They served my food to my table, despite it being a self-service restaurant, which was a nice touch. The staff was friendly, and the service was prompt and efficient.nnThe sandwich itself was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the Ten Vegetable soup. It was flavourful, healthy, and the perfect complement to my meal. The coffee was also fantastic and a great way to end my meal.nnThe ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable dining experience.nnOverall, I highly recommend Panera Bread in Kinston. The staff, food, and ambiance were all exceptional. I give it a 5-star rating and will definitely be returning in the future.
Stopped and grabbed a chicken poppyseed salad to take to work for dinner, when I went to take it out of the bag to eat, they didn't give me any dressing, and when I called was informed there was nothing that could be Done, except next time give me a pastry ! For a 15.00 salad I expected more from them, I work about 2 minutes from them they could of brought me my dressing, since I am unable to leave work and they use a delivery service
