We had the wedding party at woodbine banquets hall on 2022-09-09 for my daughter, they had arranged everything as per our request, the food was good and enough for the guests, sound system , entrance, parking all was fantastic , we would strongly recommend this hall, the rate is reasonable as well
Went there for a birthday party. It was dark outside and there was no lighting to indicate there's a banquet hall. Had dull appearance. Plenty of parking I think but I arrived earlier than most and it was during the weekdays. Inside was very nice. Very nicely done, decor, lighting, really nice. Looked like an upscale place. Not sure who arranges the food but it was mediocre, not served hot, not very good quality as it was kind of somewhat burnt or felt undercooked. Service was alright, not great. Washroom was clean and done with huge wall tiles which looked very nice. Overall not too excited not too disappointed. Wished the food was at least served hot.
We hosted a wedding ceremony on Nov 21, and I can say that it was truly amazing. The interiors of south hall are elegant, the decor was brilliant and service was just exceptional. Their General Manager Mr. Jeet Ahuja went above and beyond to make sure that everything was delivered as committed. The staff under his supervision was very polite and hospitable specially Marzuk & Gagan. All our guests were really happy with the taste of snacks and food it was super good. Jeet makes sure that his clients leave the place happy. To be honest, had it not been the initial meeting with Jeet, we might have gone to explore other places as well. But he made sure that he got our requirements in detail and delivered exactly what we wanted. Will definitively recommend this place for future events. This banquet hall is very beautiful, classic with French style stairs, beautiful shandeliers, lots of parking space and several halls to choose base on your event size, hall is located on a less busy street.
Attended my friends son birthday party here, it was impeccable. The hall was well designed, clean and staff was very professional. Location is easily approachable with enough parking around. Next to Nissan rogue showroom is great landmark. Entrance was disabled friendly which was great as I saw someone using disabled services. About food, I believe catering service was used from here and it was too good. Indian food buffet was served. Hall was huge and space with a gathering of 150 to 200 people and washrooms was very clean. Highly recommend this place.
Beautiful venue. Large space with impressive chandeliers. Lots of parking. Up to date technology. The washrooms are modern, spacious and very clean. It’s an ideal venue for wedding receptions, charitable formal events and huge parties. I was really impressed.
The food was totally bomb. Specially the appetizers were awesome. We had an event in hall C, the decor looked amazing, the hall was pretty big for 400 people. Their service is excellent and the staffs are very friendly. Highly recommend.
We had our wedding at woodbine hall earlier this year on July 15 and it was one of the most terrible experiences of my life. The banquet hall did not communicate the full details of the contract to us and on the day of the wedding, they informed us that the sound system were an additional charge that we had to pay for. I called the banquet hall, myself, one month before the wedding and they confirmed the package was “all-inclusive” and we didn’t need to worry about anything else. Then, on the day of the wedding, staff were coming up to me on stage to ask for money for the sound system. Secondly, the menu was not what we previously confirmed. They gave us white rice, rather than the brown rice we asked for. They also did not inform us that we had to bring our own Tupperware to take the food home. Hence, there was a plethora of food left at the end of the night that we couldn’t take home. Lastly, the entire night, the hall behind us was blasting loud music that we could hear all the way at our event. The speeches weren’t audible because of this and the MC was struggling throughout the night to be heard. When we complained to the hall, they refused to do anything, leading to our entire event being ruined. I realize it was peak wedding season, but all these mistakes added up and sabotaged our event.

Hosted an event here at Woodbine for the first time, and my guests and I absolutely loved it! To begin, the management is extremely helpful as this was my first time planning an Indian/Punjabi wedding event and they made sure to make the process as seamless and stress free as possible for me and my family, management was kind and even offered suggestions about planning as they see numerous wedding events weekly from all different cultures. My guests were raving about the Indian food and telling me that this was the best food they have ever had at any Hall or wedding event to date - Woodbine's food is spectacular, the chefs know what they are doing! In house decor company: Luxury Decor & Co did an amazing job with the decor, Raman is knowledgable about her craft and truly commits herself to making sure her clients are BEYOND satisfied with the decor and design. I had an idea of what I wanted and I sent it to her and throughout the process Raman made sure to be completely transparent with me about the decor and design and it ended up being BEAUTIFUL I had family that had flown out from different parts of Canada that told me the decor was unlike anything they had seen as it was so classy and elegant and better than what I originally thought of! Any other events I host, without any hesitation, I will go back to Woodbine. This was hands down a 5 star experience!
