Wood Lake RV Park and Marina

Pros: kid friendly -kid play area & beach, cute truck that serves ice cream/shaved ice.nNice office with a little bit of munchies etc. Very nice staff. Pet friendly-Great little fenced doggy park. Convenient for boaters. Laundry machines avail-$3.50 per load. Trees for shade in alot of sites. Pub, testaurants, gas station & mall nearby. Security & rules in place. Firepits when allowed. Some extra parking avail. Cute lityle creek that winds through park.Lots of areas to drive to , beautiful scenery. Beaches nice nearby. Close to Vernon, Kelowna etcnCons-the park is very dated-needs upgrades on washrooms which are kept clean. Shower Tokens needed 1 token is 8 mins. No where in park area to swim your dog-Yes there are places nearby, but still a bummer. The lake has Alot of milfoil due to boats etc. Sites are OK, tight & gravel/dirt or grass. Not level . Traffic is quite loud, If your a light sleeper, it may be a tough one. Electrical services are right on the ground-weird. Wifi, lousy.nIt's not a horrible place just busy, packed & dated. Parks right nearby are not dog friendly sadly but if you want goose poop they got lots, lol.

This is the best campground in all the land! We absolutely love it here and Kathy the GM is on top of things and delivers excellence. She is professional, kind, organized and friendly. The bathrooms, showers and amenities are cleaned daily and in immaculate shape. The condition of the camp ground is superb with stunning views! :

We have been delivering our RV trailer rentals here for many years and we are always impressed with the beautiful location and tidyness of the campground. The staff are really friendly and great to deal with, and the beachfront sites are fantastic! We always look forward to delivering and setting up here.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The camp site is pretty packed up, but with the big trees around my site it is not bad. The lake itself is so beautiful with nice dock and boats. The washroom and the shower place are nice and neat. Yes you could hear the noise from the highway so maybe find the spot that is closer to the beach. Overall it is good experience and it is so fun watching the ducks every where.
