Womens Fitness Clubs Pickering is an all inclusive gym for women in order to help them achieve their fitness goals in Pickering, ON. Our Pickering club opened in 2006, and is spaciously spread out over 15000 sq ft located within the Pickering Town Centre. This club also features 3 group exercise rooms and over 60 classes per week. Members love the convenient location, friendly staff and amazing Group Exercise program.

Love this gym because it’s all women, isn’t too busy and there’s enough machines, space, classes for you to focus on whatever you prefer. Facility is also nice, locker room & showers are clean, sauna is great to relax in after your workout! Staff are friendly. Convenient that it’s also located in the mall : Cons: don’t like classes led by male instructors, and most importantly no more childcare available which makes it very difficult for mothers to use their membership for this reason I have switched to Lifetime Fitness since they offer the Kids Academy: childcare and classes for both my kids infant and toddler to be occupied for 2.5 hours while I workout
If I could, I would give less than one star! Women's Fitness club is an establishment full of shady practices. They sell you 3-month plans of personal training. In normal circumstances, if you don't use all the sessions, they should be carried forward and you should not be charged until all the sessions are used, but instead, they kept charging my CC without even checking how many sessions were used actually. And then denied to give a refund when i moved to a different city. They forced me to take online sessions, which I didn't want because things had gotten back to normal in person sessions. In addition to the pending personal training money, they continued charging me membership fees to my CC even when i verbally confirmed and signed forms that I wont be coming to the gym anymore much in advance before I actually moved. We never got reponses in time, had to continuously follow-up and still haven't gotten the refund on unused sessions. Nobody has cared to even check or reach out to us since then.
I have been going to this gym for years and always had a good experience. It is conveniently located inside the Pickering mall, the staff is very friendly and when I asked the manager a question or to do something for me I got a prompt response. I noticed they had added more free weights recently and would like to see a fresh coat of paint on the outdated walls’ color.
Highly recommend...love the classes with Linda and my personal trainer Rosie V. All the staff and women are very friendly and make my exercise fun. I joined this gym over two years ago and never had joined a gym previously. I was in my 50’s and was gaining weight and had a goal to get healthier and build my strength/stamina. I didn’t know how to exercise at a gym so I hired a personal trainer at the gym named Rosie V. She was interested in my life goals and worked with me to build a customized program to meet my abilities when I started while developing me against my goals. In my first year Rosie motivated me to keep going and kept evolving my program as I built capabilities. She gave me insight of what I needed to do to achieve my goals. The first year I lost 40 pounds and built strength and stamina. I joined some of the classes at the gym as they were more fun than exercising on my own. In my second year I got more serious and joined the spinning class with Linda that I just love as well as maintaining my personal training with Rosie V. This year I have lost 75 pounds and built my strength and stamina to have the confidence to go tree trekking with work colleagues as well as joining other physical activities that I would never have done in the past. My personal trainer continues to customize my program to my abilities and keeps me motivated. All the staff and other women at this gym are very welcoming and I love the classes. Attending the Pickering Women’s Fitness Clubs of Canada doesn’t feel like exercise but a fun environment that improved my health. I highly recommend !
I really enjoy working out at this gym. I like how there is a sense of privacy which makes me feel more comfortable. The staff members are really nice and welcoming. I’ve tried many classes most are included in the membership and I thoroughly enjoyed them. The instructors have very upbeat and energetic personalities even at 6 AM. All in all I really like my gym. Would recommend! :
Have been with this gym for approximately 2 years. Love it! Very welcoming, clean, comfortable environment. Excellent, knowledgeable trainers & all the equipment, free weights, balls and classes you need. I have OA and have been working with Shari as a trainer. She's a great motivator and wonderful at developing and modifying routines to meet my needs. Recently I tried Shari's Chair Fitness class....wonderful alternative workout if you want to take pressure off your knees but still work through a wide range of stretches and yoga poses. Her yoga dance class is also excellent.
I loved the concept of this gym. I was a bit upset about the charging structure of the gym during the pandemic but after I called the gym unhappy, the owner called me personally and tried to resolve the issue best as he could. I appreciate the customer service. I don’t think many gyms would go to that extent which is why people are so wary of joining. Update in 2021 Guess what - they did still charge me … a year later. They said because I had no evidence I spoke to the manager I would still be charged for the months since Sept 2021, but how would I have evidence we spoke on the phone a year ago? Seems like their teams didn’t communicate to each other and of course that was my wallets fault. Manager is also very rude and will try to condescend/make it very difficult for you to cancel membership. I understand COVID has made it hard for gyms but the manager does not listen at all and will try to legalese his way into $22 a month. I’d have stayed if this place didn’t screw me over twice.
Great staff… however.. Machines need tune ups, small selection in weights, all machines and racks are in front of walls - hard to work on form when you can’t see yourself. Also please update gym hours on Google. It’s been over a year now of incorrect hours
