Wolf Run Restaurant

We drove into Fairbanks later at night and saw that Wolf Run was one of the few places open after 8pm. The inside of the restaurant was very nice and the staff was very friendly. The sign on the outside said reservations were preferred but since we were showing up later at night, we didn't have a problem getting a table. I ordered the lamb chops and the wife ordered the pork chops. The food was tasty but it wasn't amazing. Overall a good place to eat.

We went out for my husband's birthday with friends to Wolf's Run. We had reservations that they couldn't find but had room for us so we got seated. First, I ordered done wine which on the List said $10 a bottle so I said I'll have that. When she brought me my glass, I asked for the rest of the bottle but it turns out it was $10 a glass. I let that go. My husband and his friend ordered the $49 steak since the description sounded good. His steak was ordered medium and arrived to us raw in the middle. When I say "raw" I mean still cold and not cooked at all. We waited about 10 minutes for the server to come back which she didn't until we walked down into the server's area and asked her to come to the table. We showed her the steak and asked to speak to the manager when she stayed that there was nothing she could do. When she was walking away, we asked for some salt and pepper which we never got from her. My friend went into the kitchen and got it for us. The manager/cook came out and we went at it for about 10 mins before he agreed that the steak was not cooked correctly. While all of this is going on, my friend found a hair in her salad which the manager/cook stated that he doesn't know how out got in there but he blamed the server since they don't wear hair nets. I am giving them 2 stars only because they did refund my husband's meal after everything was said and done.

Great place, nice and neat. Exquisite food, sauces are to die for! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, family oriented seatings! Separate cozy dining room provides privacy and encourages friendly conversation. You will want to set your cell phones aside and just enjoy the evening out with friends and family!

Great food and service. Had the hummus with steak tips as an appetizer and the Wolf Run Grille for dinner. Hummus was delicious and will order again... Dinner was also delicious and all 4 in our party enjoyed theirs. Will return!

Seriously AMAZING food. Great atmosphere. I go there on date night with or without kids. Consistantly impressive.
