The Salmon Bake is a summer staple in Fairbanks. You basically have to go once a year. It is a bit pricey, but it is worthwhile for the food and ambience. Pick a warmer day while the sun is out so that you can truly enjoy your time there. The salmon is excellent and the beer battered cod is amazing. We tell our kids that it is chicken nuggets. They believe us and gobble them up! They do have a cheaper hot dog option for kids too if you'd rather. The sides and prime rib are good too. The dessert shack is the best. You can sip some North Pole coffee and enjoy one of two desserts. If you pace yourself, you can really leave fully stuffed and satisfied. And then walk it off over at Pioneer Park when you are done. If you are visiting Fairbanks, this should be your first dinner out. And, in my opinion, skip the crab add on. It's not worth the price.

Excellent beer-battered cod. Delicious salmon. Good prime rib & salad bar. Well organized. Staff very courteous. Would have liked a greater variety of desserts; they just had different kinds of sheet cakes.

The food was amazing! And all you can eat. This was my first time going and I promise I will be back. The people were not mean about wanting another piece. All smiles. The cool part was the salmon being cooked right In front of you and I thought that was amazing getting your food fresh off the grill. The had a salad bar, a condiments bar a dessert bar... ♡♡♡

This place it incredible! The views are nice the environment is exactly as you would expect for an Alaskan experience. They have an affordable Buffett of prime rib, wild Alaskan Salmon, and cod as the meat options, an amazing salad bar, a dessert bar and an actual bar. Nothing can top the experience, but the variety is limited so don't expect to be overwhelmed with choices. With that being said, according to a large number of studies people tend to be much more satisfied with fewer choice. In conclusion, this place is a must go if you are anywhere near Fairbanks, Alaska.
