Witch Meadow Lake Campground

I've camped here a few weekends every year since I was 13. Now I bring my children & they love it too! They've got modern conveniences like a pool, laundry room & a fully stocked store but still maintain the full camping experience. Tons of activities for kids as well as canoes, kayaks & swimming at the lake. Grounds are well maintained & staff is friendly.

Extremely well taken care of. Feel very safe on the grounds. Tons to do for all ages!

Many things to do with kids. Also very clean. Well maintained and very polite staff always willing to help if you need it.

This is the best campground in Connecticut. The cleanest facilities, tons of activities, and truly the friendliest people ever!!

Owner was rude when answering the phone and while trying to deal with a blackwater problem that we had, and still rude when I went down to speak with her. We were unaware that our outdoor kitchen drains into our blackwater tank and just wanted a quick pumpout. She was short and rude and did not help us out or care about our problem. She said we would be first on the list for Monday morning (this was Sunday afternoon). Well, we never got that pumping. The only good thing I can say is the store is fully stocked and has more than other campgrounds. But, don't talk to the staff, it's like they are imprisoned there. We have stayed there a couple of times and definitely prefer Salem Farms better. They were so accommodating.
